How To Optimize & Compress MP3 Files
It’s fairly easy to create audio products such as interviews, recorded conferences, tutorials, etc. Practically anyone with a microphone or headset can create the audio files.
The problem you run into is file size. Most audio content of any length ends up being a large file in raw format. Not only does it take too long to download, it also uses up valuable bandwidth in your hosting account – sometimes resulting in substantial fee’s.
I set out to find a solution to this, and I found one…
For voice you can take it down to 24bit with no noticeable loss in quality on ordinary voice presentations.
Here is a simple way to compress mp3 files so they are optimized and compressed in just one click:

1. Install the program
2. Open the program
3. load the mp3 file
4. Click convert
Presto.

No it does not work with vista OS it freezes once you press on convert

put both files MP3Tweak.exe & lame.dll in the same folder
After you have compressed it can you then upload it to a host and then uncompress it?

It works good,but audio quality is no that good.
It reduces size of 80%,amazing.
But try to include 64 bit rate.

i was able to reduce 6,3445MB to 588KB
Roxio Creator 10 (and 11) can convert many batch files under the audio option to lower or higher quality mp3, where lower means more compressed it terms of bits.

This programme is very good! I compressed my file from about 4 MB to less than 1 MB. It is way better than those lame compressors found online. Thank you so much Josh!
Whenever I click convert after uploading the song it just blinks and does not fully compress my song. Any suggestions?

This is a great software just i magine compressing and audio file from 323MB to 24.4MB with all quality the same great software indeed. Anyway is it limited to a number of audios it can convert or it is unlimited?
