Marketing Mayhem Hits San Diego!

E Brian RoseThat's me with E. Brian Rose, taken recently in Atlanta. He's the founder of JVZoo, author of The Millionaire Within Me and Expert Fame (to be released this year), and puts on a seriously amazing event called Marketing Mayhem Live.

He's just officially announced that they're putting on a Marketing Mayhem Live event in San Diego in March!

I've already booked my ticket. πŸ˜€

The August event was AWESOME. See my recap here. MML is hands down THE marketing event of the year, and the best live event I've attended in ages!

What you can expect:

- HIGH Quality Content
- Serious FUN
- Top Notch Networking

It's a "who's who" event so you'll get to hang out and brainstorm with some of the best minds in the industry.

The early bird special ends in a few days, so grab your ticket now and join us in San Diego! πŸ˜‰

β€œWho you associate with is more important than you could ever imagine. Do not accept anything less than the best – otherwise you are cheating yourself. Research shows that when you spend time with people who are succeeding that you too will succeed. ” -EarlyToRise.com

Now for a confession...

If you know me at all, you know I'm super picky about my associations. When I first met E. Brian Rose I was skeptical. Usually, the more I get to know someone the less I like them. Hey, I'm just being honest. πŸ˜‰

That hasn't been the case with "EBR". In fact, the more time I've spent around him the more impressed I am with him as both a person and an entrepreneur.

I was skeptical about the Marketing Mayhem event too.

The name alone, along with the awesome entertainment they bring in, gives it a reputation for being a front for "a wild party". That simply isn't the case. I am one seriously conservative southern woman, and I can tell you firsthand there's nothing "sketchy" about it - not even after hours.

They bring one of the best crowds I've ever seen at a single event, and the content was second to none - particularly if you want fresh, current marketing strategies and actionable content. Again, you can read my recap of the last event and also see the top four reasons I attended to learn more about it.

As soon as they announced the San Diego event in March, I secured my ticket right away. This is a DON'T-MISS event in my book. I decided after I attended in August that I would make it a point to be at every single Marketing Mayhem event from then on. It's THAT good.

If you hurry you can register super cheap.

I would love to see you there! πŸ˜€

Best,

p.s. The early bird special won't last long. I believe it's ending in just a few days, actually. You can book your ticket cheap if you get it today, and you still have plenty of time to make your travel plans. Please let me know if you plan to attend. I would love to meet up with you there and brainstorm over lunch or dinner!

  1. Hi Lynn, Marketing Mayhem looks great. However what I wanted to comment on was that I think your approach to choosing associates is very smart! We all need to be careful about who we work with as it can impact our reputation.

    • Thank you Kostas! This is a VERY important point in regards to how you run your business, the perception of your overall brand, and how you want to be known. I learned some hard lessons along the way about "associations" and how they can affect your business, and have become cautious about those - including "perceived associations".

I could probably do a whole blog post on that alone. πŸ˜› lol. I've met some amazing people in the industry AND in my market over the years, though. It's definitely one of the perks to my business!

    • Yeah. I agree.

But more than reputation, I think what's really scary is that it can really affect who you are.

      And who you become.

In the words of Jim Rohn, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

If you really want to vet someone out, just make a controversial political post on Facebook. You'll get to know people really well that way.

    • LOL Bill! πŸ˜› I tend to stay away from politics and religion as topics, especially with business peers - and often even with friends. Some people are much more open minded and interesting to talk to about such things, but for the most part those topics can go straight down a rabbit hole. πŸ˜‰ haha - your comment cracked me up!

Over the years, I've decided not to hang out with people I don't like - doesn't matter to me that they're "good" business people - I just can't live with associating with people I can't stand. I know it's hurt me, business-wise.

But I can sleep at night. Usually πŸ˜›

        • I'm the same way. I don't think it hurts you - or us - at all. "Quality of Life" is so much more important than anything else in my book. I'm an all-in or all-out kind of person anyway. I don't have room for wishy washy stuff in my life. Or don't MAKE room, lol.
