Jason Calacanis, Keynote at Affiliate Summit West

Love him or not, you cant deny his presence on the web. His latest project is Mahalo.com, a human-powered search engine. Prior to that he was involved with a venture capital company, prior to that employed by AOL, prior to that owner of the Weblogs Inc blog network, etc This list goes on - and on - and onnn.

If you arent already familiar with Jason Calacanis (?possible?), he’s the man that owns the blogosphere.

I completely forgot my point… - Oh! The event is set for February 2008 24-26, 2008 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino…

Affiliate Summit is THE event for super affiliates, and those who want to be. It’s where the who’s who of the affiliate marketing industry get together to discuss the latest affiliate marketing strategies, share creative ideas and offer exclusive deals. It’s a great opportunity to power-network with super affiliates!

The details on topics and speakers are not set in stone yet for this event, so you’ll want to check in at their site to get more information as its available. As for the keynote - any guesses as to what Calacanis will focus on? Leave your comment below

I think that article was just a way to rant…lol. I respect Jason and what he has accomplished as entrepreneur. I do however thing affiliate marketing maybe out of his range of interests….. I hope he will prove me wrong.

Same here. I like to keep up with the “calacanis saga” - quite interesting, to say the least. You never know where he’ll turn up next… but you can bet controversy will follow

Off the topic question . I see the BlogRush widget on your site. I took mine down few days ago. Did those “shocking changes” improved anything? Any more traffic than before?

I’m getting a fair bit of targeted traffic from it, and also tend to click on it quite a bit myself (a neat little social networking tool, if you ask me!).

I havent checked out “the latest” from BlogRush yet so I cant say - but I will do that today or tomorrow. Have just been busy with the 20/20 challenge the last 10 days. I’ll be sure to check stats, check the news, and report back in a new post later this week.
