2014 marked my 10th year of blogging, which was an exciting milestone! But it was also a crazy year full of highs and lows and major distractions. I don't mind at all to say that I look forward to seeing this year come to an END.

I'm in the middle of a big "Year End Mess" (which I like to call organized chaos, lol). I have big plans and ambitious goals for the year ahead, but somehow this past year ended up really cluttering up my office and my computers & devices...

This week I took some quiet time to myself to reflect, brainstorm, cut through the thick overwhelm, and decide what I really want to focus on in 2015.

I'm not going to tell you I had some serious breakthrough and everything magically fell into place. LOL, I wish that were the case. πŸ˜‰ I do feel the fog starting to lift and some clarity setting in though. It's a process. There's planning, organizing, decluttering - and simply going through the motions, one task at a time.

Dale Carnegie QuoteThe 2015 Success Challenge

It's hard to set ambitious goals and make big plans from a place of mess, stress & chaos.

It's easier to just let overwhelm consume you and do nothing at all. But that's not really my style. So I'm digging in, taking action, and challenging myself to a serious year of success!

I've decided to "share all" every step of the way so you can join in too - and we can kick this year off BIG, together!

In a series of posts here at ClickNewz over the next few weeks we'll work through the important tasks & topics, including:

It'll be a lot more fun than it sounds, I promise. πŸ˜€

In addition to helpful tips, how-to's and videos... you can expect live chats & challenges too. We can work together to get on the fast-track to reaching our 2015 goals. This will be much better than going it alone. We'll have a great time and get TONS accomplished!

  1. Oh man ...

The end of the year is here again.

Ha ha. I can somewhat comprehend your feelings. About wanting this year to end.

It's been great in some ways.

    Rough in others.

But looking forward to the new year ahead.

Going to start it with a bang!

What I'm Working On Right Now:
    - Polishing and turbocharging some of my online skills.

How I'm Closing Out The Year:
    - With intensity and full of hope

The One Thing I Most Want To Accomplish In 2015:
    - Helping 20 more people quit their jobs to run their own full time online business

By the way, heard a lot about The One Thing too. Gotta remember to grab a copy ...

    • Hi Daniel πŸ˜€ Which online skills are you focusing on right now?

I'm really looking forward to The One Thing. I am currently finishing up my planning & organizing for the first quarter, then I am going to dig in. Can't wait!

      • Hmm... well, there are several.

        1) My funnel building skills

        2) My "just relax, have fun, and don't take everything so seriously" skills

        3) Developing new productivity systems and techniques to bring it up another level

        4) My traffic generation skills

        5) My speed typing skills up another level (don't laugh πŸ˜› )

Hey Lynn, Good post as usual. I'm looking forward to your future posts. I can tell you put a lot of thought into. It's almost like you're offering personal coaching...one blog post at a time. I dig it.

To add to the conversation I'll let you know what I'm working on.

*I'm working with a start up tech company now and finished the financial projections for the company today (I'm part of the company by the way. I started as an advisor, then I was asked to be part of the firm). With no start up capital and no funding, we'll have just under 6 figures in sales in 2015 and over $150k in sales in 2016. Pretty exciting.

*I'm also consulting with business owners and teaching them how to increase their profits by 30% or more in 60 days or less without increasing their advertising costs, guaranteed.

*I'm being interviewed at HGTC (a local community college where I live) for a position as Associate Professor of Business where I'll teach business courses at the college level.

*In March I'm teaching a session at the annual Entrepreneurship in Higher Education Seminar here at the beach where I live http://lync-sync.com/symposium.php My topic is: The 21st Century Entrepreneur’s Approach to Content Marketing and Developing a Unique Selling Proposition

*I plan to have my book finished by the end of March

*I'm being interviewed this week by a well-known marketing expert (Suzanne Evans) for a position in her office as their outreach specialist and professional speaker (I've got my fingers crossed for this one)

And, the ONE thing I want to accomplish? Pay myself first. A theory I learned after reading "The Richest Man In Babylon".

I do have other MUSTS for 2015, but this year I want to pay myself first. (I don't talk about goals as much anymore. I talk about MUSTS. We always do our MUSTS, but our goals are sometimes fleeting).

Happy New Year to you and yours!

    Cheers!

    Shane

P.S. Please excuse any typos. This is written as a conversation...not a college thesis. πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you, Shane - and wowsa, what an amazing first quarter you have lined up! πŸ˜€ Awesome. I love your "MUSTS" vs Goals - great way to get in the right mindset!
