This is the absolute best way to keep track of who’s saying what online. Are people talking about you on forums, mentioning your website, recommending your products? Set up Google Alerts and find out!
No Follow Tag - What Is It?
Sandy explains what the No Follow tag is, and why you might want to use it. It may spark some ideas for you, such as placing this tag on affiliate links that you post throughout your site, or other links that you dont necessarily want Google to “follow”…

I’m curious if you can build complex Google alerts. For instance, one that would give Lynn notice if a blog mentioned either “ClickNewz” AND/OR “Lynn Terry”.
The alternative — one for each term — often gives you duplicate alerts (since of course many blog posts would mention both terms).
Any ideas?

Yes, Sandy Naidu. I remember her. We drilled her sometimes ago with lots of questions and she provided beautiful answers for us.
