Yada Yada Yada
What a week! “TGIF” for sure!!
I am looking forward to a quiet weekend, and a much needed one at that. I am actually planning to work on my taxes (woo hoo! ha!) and catch up on a little reading and housework this weekend. As boring as that might sound, some downtime will be welcomed because the past week has just been very busy and chaotic.
It’s been great, mind you – dont get me wrong, because I’m certainly not complaining
. Some of you might be familiar with the Body Challenge that I got involved with several weeks ago. As part of my own personal challenge, I went to the local Circuit Aerobics and Cardio Kickboxing classes three nights this week. I’ve also been to the tanning bed four times this week, and to the dentist every week for the last three weeks. I got so motivated about the whole ‘losing weight’ and ‘getting in shape’ challenge, that I decided to expand it to head-to-toe improvement!
I found a great local church, as well, and have been getting involved there. I have lived here for almost 3 years now, but I moved here to take care of my Grandmother… and quite honestly havent been out of the house much at all since I’ve been here. Between church and the aerobics classes, it has been nice to meet some locals and feel like I am getting more ‘grounded’ here.
And that’s on top of my already busy schedule with the kids, house & my work online ~ LOL. But my daughter is going away on a fun little camping trip with her friend, and I’m sure my son will have something to get into this weekend as well…Â so like I said, I’m looking forward to a little quiet time and a chance to catch up on a few things.
By the way, I got some great packages in the mail this week! The first was the two print books that I ordered from Joel Comm. The second my package from Google Store. And I also got some hand-poured candles from Ronda of Makin’ Scents. She sent me a Spiced Cranberry candle to try out… which I’ve already gotten great compliments on! So I am looking forward to pulling on a geeky shirt, reading my Adsense books, and burning my new candles
I ordered some new books from Amazon yesterday, too. Hopefully they’ll be here early next week… and I’ll tell you more about those and why the titles interested me in another post!
What about you – what do you have planned for the weekend?
