This weekend (Sunday) is Book Lovers Day, so I thought I'd share the last 10 business books I ordered from Amazon, which are all currently on my desk. These are not my "Top 10" - just my most recent additions.
What are you reading right now, or what were your last 3 books?
I'd love to hear your favorites, or what you're currently reading!
Here's the text list of the books above:
I said there were 10, but there are only 9 images above. The 10th is the InnerGuide Planner to the right, which I discussed in this video.
(Did you get a chance to see that one yet??)
My latest book buys should give you some ideas about my plans for the rest of the year, and moving forward. π The two books by Joseph Murphy are for personal reading. I love topics that make you THINK, or empower & motivate.
The rest will give you an idea where my focus lies right now with marketing online...
I look forward to hearing what you're reading!
Best,
Hi Lynn,
Looks like some great reading to be done. I wonder how you find the time to read so much. I try reading at night before bed but end up falling asleep about 2 to 3 pages in.
Thanks for sharing.
I'm actually struggling with that, Monna. I have a goal to read 20 minutes a day, and have it set up as one of my Daily Time Blocks, but I haven't been finding much time lately to read. Which is unfortunate, because I LOVE to read!
I used to do most of my reading while traveling, but I've been home this summer. I'm aiming to get back to my usual reading time every day, because I have a lot of great books to catch up on...
I think it would be a lot of fun to have a "book of the month" here on ClickNewz to read together & discuss. That would definitely motivate me, lol. Plus it would be great to discuss & implement as a group. What do you think? π
Lynn and Monna, if you wake up an hour earlier every day, you can literally change your life. I wake up every day at 5:00 (even on weekends), and by 5:15 the cats are fed, the dog is fed and I have a cup of coffee in one hand and a book in the other. I read for one hour in the morning every day. Then at 6:15 I start to get around, get a bite to eat and go to the gym for about 70-90 minutes. Then I begin my work day.
By so doing, I can read 1-2 books a week. So Lynn, I see what you're reading and I can see where you're going. Most of the books on your list you can probably speed read and get through in a couple sittings. (after all, you've been marketing for years)
However, the believe in yourself and subconscious mind books will probably take a little longer because they are a little heavy. But well worth it, I'm sure.
Just for craps and laughs, below is my 2015 reading list (books I've read this year so far)

As always, I love your post. You are an inspiration to us all.
Cheers!
Great list, Shane! π
I got up at 2am the other morning, 4:30am on Sunday morning, 5am this morning. I'm already an EARLY riser, lol. It's more a matter of making it a priority - which is the key to anything, like exercise. Which I've finally fit into my daily routine. Yay! haha
I'm going to go through your list more carefully. Good stuff. *cheers*
Lynn, I haven't read books for two years and I really miss reading books again. The reason is I don't wake up early in the morning. As a result, reading book was remove in my things to do list. I guess its time to get back in track.
I don't think I'd be great at reading early in the morning. It takes me a while for my focus to REALLY kick in. We're all different in that respect, though. π I prefer reading in the late afternoon or in the evening myself...
Wow! Reading is not in my main list. But sometimes I read and Shane has shared an awesome way of reading.
I am going to start off with one of Lynn Terry list Joy Deangdeelert book, Blogging Inc.
Thanks so much for the ideas! The instagram power book was on my list, but you've given me a few more avenues to explore as well.
