The Countdown Is On… 5 Days Left In 2007

December 27th, 2007 · 11 Comments ·

There are 5 days left in 2007, including today. The countdown is on to complete any year-end work, and to prepare for the New Year at the same time.

Get a hit of anxiety? Yeah, me too. In addition to two major holidays and the catch-up work in between, I’ll be closing out the books for the year and outlining my goals for 2008…

To be honest, I didnt expect things to be so busy over the Christmas holiday. I took some time off to hang out with my children and see friends, and came back to 19 private messages, hundreds of emails, plenty of PayPal activity, numerous JV invitations, 800+ spam blog comments, etc, etc, etc  I’m anxious to work on my goals, but obviously I’ll have to tend to some of that first.

Of course, there are also personal tasks to accomplish as well. I always like to organize, clean house, and clean out drawers and closets for the New Year… so the next week will be a busy one around here!

I dont usually do my year-end paperwork until the end of January, but this year I am doing it early because I am house-hunting & shopping for a mortgage. So I want to have my ducks in a row - financial ducks, that is.

I’ll spend today doing catch-up work and getting things organized, and the next 4 days making my way through my year-end task list. What about you - are you taking the week off and taking it easy, or are you busily getting ready for the New Year?

    Lynn,

My sincerest apologies for trying to “corner” you at your “fastcash” email address.

So, taking your suggestion, I’ll present my dillema to your “knowledgable” forum participants.

Again, although I am new at all of this “online” marketing stuff - despite having been a Journalist in the Army (AP Styleguide), having accomplished an A.A.S. in Computer Systems Technology and received a certificate of completion for Front Page ‘97 - I have been “investigating” ways to generate an income via the Internet for the past 10+ years.

Well, at the end of last month (Nov), my assignment with a “temp” outfit was terminated. J.O.B.s around here are scarce to non-existant.
My real dream is to spend a couple hours at the PC in the morning and go outside (yes, even in this weather) and work in the yard.

I know there is money to be made online. I’m an honest and ethical person at heart and I’ve been spending a lot of time with the “Spiritual” aspects of Wealth.

Today I “rebranded” an ebook from an author of one of the newsletters I’ve subscribed to and it is loaded with useful links for just about anyone to benefit from.

Although I am quickly running out of cash to spend on “learning more useful techniques”, I am to the point where the $3 in the bank, no credit and no job is “allowing” me to seriously consider my Internet Business dream.

As I mentioned (to Lynn in my latest email) earlier, I have about 24 hours to “create” $180 and three days to come up with an additional $200. All that in order to keep my cell phone, Internet Service Provider (I still have dial-up) and keep the “lights” on. After that - we’ll discuss keeping the house payments up to date.

Anyway, with what I have to “promote”, what’s the quickest way I can generate some “serious” cash - QUICKLY?

Anybody with some serious replies = thanks.

    Peace,

    arceyess…

    Hi Robert,
My forum is actually located at:

Having no idea what your product is like, or what the target market is, or anything… I cant really offer specific advice. But if you need to make a couple hundred dollars overnight, I would suggest selling or pawning something you own and/or calling and asking for an extension on your utilities.

    Hi,

    800+ blog spam, LOL…

Just like you, I’m pretty busy making that to do list, and the goals of course. Another year will come again, and I’m hoping I will make it a great year.

    Happy Holidays!

    Hey Lynn,

I consider this another timely ‘head up’ - you know I haven’t even sit down to take stock of this year and then plan for next year 2008.

I know I should do this, yet I keep postponing it. Not any more — I am off to my table to start my plan for next year.

    Hi Lynn,

for me, i’ll definitely be looking at more ways of earning good income via the internet in 2008, with the aim of making a good regular passive income of at least $10K+ online so tat i can leave my J.O.B for good ! There are just so many business models of making money online, & I want to try my hand on each one of them so that I can experience enjoying multiple streams of income just like so many others have done…. :-)

Meanwhile, have also sent you a follow-up PM regarding 1 of my “projects” which i was updating you all along…..looking forward to receiving your response on that matter soon, thanks a million ! :-)
