The Music City Marketers group, a meet-up for online business owners in and around the Nashville area, met again yesterday - Saturday, January 26th. The turn-out for this event was great. In fact, the group doubled since our first meet in August.
The events are organized by Stacie Bennett, wearing red at the far side of the table in the photo above, and going clockwise are: Russell Portwood, Roger French, Patricia, Quinn Moore, Jay Boyd, Reuben Rock, Kirk Ward, Gary Leggett, Lynn Terry (me) and David Hooper. Nina Ground and her partner Andrew McElroy were also in attendance, but not shown in this photo.
Stacie’s husband Rick was kind enough to take photos during the meeting and I believe Stacie is working on getting permission to publish those on Flickr or somewhere online. I’ll keep you posted on that, but sneak a couple in here now too (top: Lynn Terry and David Hooper, bottom: Stacie Bennett & Lynn Terry):
Our topic for this meet-up was Business Planning & Goal Setting. We had a great mix of seasoned entrepreneurs and start-ups and openly shared issues, ideas and solutions. We closed the meeting by sharing our current short-term goals and planning to meet back again in 3 months.
All in all a huge success and a great time! Several of us stayed after for dinner and coffee and more casual conversation. I met a lot of new people this time around, some I’d known online for years and some I met for the first time ever.
There was plenty of networking, idea-sharing and even socializing. I think its safe to say everyone had a good time and took away something valuable from this meet-up.

And yes, its been below freezing here for most of the past week. In fact, the night before the meet-up we were under a Winter Weather Advisory. Fortunately nothing came of it, and its warming up here now (back into the 50’s!).

You would pick the worst picture of me, now wouldn’t you. I know there were some better pictures in there. I think Rick caught me talking in that one.
I encourage anyone that wants to come to sign up for the notification list, because not only are you notified, but sometimes I just might send out little things (gifts, nothing for sale there) that you can use, lol.

So close to me as I’m on the NW side of Atlanta. So excited to be in on something that can help me achieve my goals for this year. In another post I stated organization and following through with EACH step and program was and is my goal for this year. Income will then follow. One dollar at a time!
