Millionaire Within: Untold Stories from the Internet Underworld totally sucked me in, and I read it cover to cover - start to finish. This is a must-read book. Period.

I thought this was going to be another boring Internet Marketing book.

My attention span sucks. Never is that more obvious than when I'm at a conference, or when I need to absorb video training. I'm better at reading than listening or watching, but to be honest it's been years since I've finished a book I started. That was NOT the case with Millionaire Within by E. Brian Rose.

I'd had the book for a few days. Since it was still sitting on my desk, I tossed it in my bag and brought it with me on my trip to Phoenix. The title didn't really appeal to me right off the bat. I pretty much expected it to be "just another Internet Marketing book" full of egotistical blah blah blah.

Still, I had agreed to read it, so I brought it along...

I don't know what prompted me to actually READ the book last night.

Maybe because I'd seen Brian that day, or because I just heard him speak from the stage that morning. But I see him several times a year, and I've heard him speak before (which is always great!).

Or maybe it was just because I was tired last night, and decided crawling in bed and reading a book sounded really nice 🙂 ... and that was the one book I'd brought with me.

I figured I'd skim over it at best. That's how I usually read 😛 lol. Not this time though. The book was like one of those awesome movies that lasts four hours and has you on the edge of your seat the whole time, and leaves you blown away at the end asking "it's over? What? Wait... I want more!"

It was literally THAT good! At one point, around 1:30am, my eyes were starting to get quite heavy and I was having to will myself to stay awake just to see what would happen next. I finally put it down, turned off the lamp, and called it a night.

Four minutes later I flipped the lamp back on and continued reading... lol.

I'm not going to say this was the best book I've ever read in my entire life. That might be "Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind" (which I never officially finished, but keep meaning to do). Or the beautiful Earth Child fiction series by Jean Auel (which I've read multiple times).

It's raw. It's candid. Eric (E. Brian Rose) holds nothing back, and I mean NOTHING, including names. 😯 It's also written as "a story" - and a damn good one - one you don't want to put down...

Millionaire Within is not a how-to book.

It's also not an egotistical "brag book".

It's a how-he-did-it book.

It's a very detailed story about his struggles, his ideas, his failures, his dreams. It's eye opening, shocking in spots, extremely revealing... but also incredibly insightful. I can't count the number of times I raised my eyebrows, or laughed out loud!

I walked away with so many ideas and so much inspiration, not all from exactly what was said or how he did things, but rather the ideas it sparked as I was reading along.

TONS of ideas.

I would put ONE word on this one: brilliant. Flat out brilliant. From the style of writing and the story-telling format, to the way he frames his story in such a way that there are endless take-aways from it - page by page, minute by minute.
