35 Birthday Wishes
Today, June 7th, is my 35th Birthday
I am celebrating with a combination of all of the things that I love. My best friend who is in town for the weekend, shopping with the girls, oreo ice cream cake, my 2 favorite meals (greek & japanese) – and everything else I can manage to squeeze into one weekend *grin*. So far its been a blast!
My 35th birthday is a milestone I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. I can hardly believe that day is here…
I had certain income goals that I expected to reach by this point, that I reached. I intended to buy my dream home by the time I was 35. I did that – just 3 months ago. Almost every long-term goal that I’ve had over the years was to be achieved by my 35th birthday. I can honestly say that seemed like a long way off at the time. Even just a year ago.
But here I am. And my life is everything I could have wished for – and then some. I’m not claiming it to be perfect of course… but I’m definitely at a very happy place in my life.
There were so many times that I wished I could snap my fingers and fast-forward into the future – to here. I always imagined life would be much easier, certain things would be behind me, the children would be older, I would be reaping the rewards of the hard work I was so busy doing at that time.
There is no fast-forward, and there is no “easy button”. If there were, I would have gladly taken either one over the years of hard work that I invested. But its so very cool to be standing on this side of my goals, and to realize the results of that investment.
Big dreams seem to come true in the form of small mundane tasks, performed consistently and persistently over a long period of time…
Thank You!
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for all of the beautiful birthday wishes via snail mail, email, tweets, and MySpace comments. Thank you to those of you that have become the truest of friends (you know who you are *hugs*). Thank you for reading along, for leaving your thoughts here, and for your invaluable feedback along the way as I was growing my business.
Thank you for the links, for the resources and for the ocassional necessary nudge *grin*. And a special thank you to my mother, who reads along here – and is also the best friend a daughter could ask for.
From here I am creating a whole new set of goals, and am very much looking forward to the next decade of making them happen… mundane tasks and all

oooooh to be only 35 again . . .
Enjoy your day.
Regards,
Al
Happy Birthday Lynn. I hope it is a great day!
Happy Birthday!
It’s refreshing to her such positive testimony of success. You inspire us to keep slogging on. When we hold on to our dreams and keep working steadily toward them, with a good attitude, we can accomplish anything we want.
Happy Birthday! Be happy and stop counting, Lynn. In “real age”, you couldn’t be a day over 25.
Happy birthday and all the best!
Hope your day, and the next year, are happy and healthy for you!
Thank you – you guys are awesome
I’ll be in and out for the rest of the weekend, so if you’re waiting to hear back from me on something it may be Monday.
Have a great weekend on your end too!

Happy Birthday Lynn! Enjoy your very special day. And best wishes for a happy, healthy, prosperous year!
Happy Birthday, Lynn! Mine is tomorrow, so we’ll both be celebrating this weekend. I’m definitely with you about eating out as much as possible! Cooking is not my forte!
Love this blog post idea and since my blog is launching in a week or two, I’ll use this idea for next year’s b-day. Except I’ll have to add a few more numbers than you have to the list
Enjoy today — and every day!
Cheers,
Linda Abbit
Haha! Thank you – have a great birthday, Linda!

Happy Birthday to a GREAT person! Virtual hugs to you Lynn!
What a clever, clever 35-year-old you are! Great birthday present suggestions. You don’t need “stuff” for your birthday, you need your biz to grow.
You’re a genius!
Just know that I was going to get you a frog. Or was it a turtle? I forget which one you like. But now you’ll have to settle for something “practical.”
*grin*
Happy, happy birthday!

)

(Before I get raked over the coals for saying Lynn is old, I just turned 35 myself)
Awesome post Lynn. I was 33 just a week ago myself. You’re an inspiration. You know, when I started following your blog I wasn’t a single Mom but now I am… so you’re really a huge mentor now.
Thank you so much for all the great birthday wishes! I had a terrific day, and am topping it off with a trip to the new sushi bar/hibatchi grill that just opened up in my town (wow!) for a late lunch today.
@Carrie – Being a single parent is tough work. Much harder than Internet Marketing lol. I dont know whether to say I’m sorry to hear that news, or congratulations – but either way it makes me want to give you a big fat hug!

I think I was about 35 when I realized that I was an adult, hard to remember now.
I was eagerly looking forward to your comments on four tier annihilation, due 6/10. I’m tempted to buy even though I can’t really afford the price, but if it really works, then………………….!
I will restrain myself though until I see your comments.
Ed
Thank you Ed
I havent had opportunity to look over the review material for 4-Tier Annihilation yet. I’ll look into that. What was the ‘hook’ that interested you in the product?

Happy birthday Lynn!!!
Lynn you are a wonderful person : ) Thank you for everything, we like you very very much!!!

Hi Lynn
I wished you Happy Birthday a little earlier. I’m a Gemini too…
I just turned 61 … I feel a healthy 40…
I just found your website a few months ago.
I am learning a lot from you online, and hope you don’t mind if I put my Birthday blog link here

If you do mind, then just remove this comment, of course.

A belated Happy Birthday to you as well!

The ‘hook’ for 4 tier marketing was the pics of earnings that were obviously from ebay, that was new to me – and I use ebay a lot, plus the fact that it was supposed to be done without all the adsense, adwords, paypal, SEO which is like learning trigonometry with no basic math knowledge for IM learners like me, even though I’ve been trying for a long time.
This seemed like a way to earn the dollars to keep going until I catch up a little with the graduates, (like you!).
Ed
Hi Lynn,
Thanks so much – it’s been a wonderful birthdday.

Interesting. I havent even seen the sales copy for it, Ed – so I dont have any comments either way at this point.
Is this something you intend to work into your current project, ie something that takes you closer to your current goals (rather than distract you from it)?

Happy belated Birthday
Best to you
Not related to current goals, but it looks like it could produce income with little learning as I already know ebay fairly well. That would help me survive while I work on my main projects.
Incidentally are big fat hugs reserved for single moms, or do single dads get them too sometimes?
I am a single father of a wonderful 7 year old young lady.
Ed
Not at all – **hugs**
– and Happy Father’s Day!
I just took a look at my JV email and the 4-Tier product is set up on ClickBank: http://lynnwsn.4tierann.hop.clickbank.net/ so you are covered under their full money-back guarantee. Also, the product is only $77. For some reason I had assumed it was a higher-priced product.
I still havent looked into my review copy, but if you are genuinely interested… well, the clickbank guarantee and price point make it worth giving some serious consideration.
Keep in mind that the true value is determined by you – and by what you invest in the product on your end

Hey Lynn, I just got a new computer and set up my email again… and lo-and-behold I got your newsletter… which I hadn’t been getting for months cuz of my old spam program.
Firstly, Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Your birthday message is truly inspiring, and I wish you continued success in the coming years!
And, I’ve been doing some research and a product that contains Retinols (I use Neutrogena from Rite Aid) is the best thing you can do to prevent wrinkles without any injections!
I’m off to do a couple of those 35 choices:)
Thank you Ellen – Welcome back
Thanks too for the tip. I am constantly trying new products because my skin tone is changing. I’ll definitely keep that in mind the next purchase I make!

Happy Birthday. As I turn 64 in December I will attempt to write my list of 64 items. Does it get easier or harder as the list gets longer? Regardless I MUST be fun or it’s not worth pursuing.
