Today is Day 11 of the Be A Better Blogger series. We’re using the outline offered by Collis Ta’eed in his article titled 31 Days To Becoming A Better Blogger, and our topic for the day is:
Add social media links to the bottom of your posts and to your feed. While most people will vote for your posts via the toolbar, social media links or icons can remind people to vote for your post if they liked it.
It’s even more essential to add these buttons to your feed, because there’s no easy way for people to vote straight out of their feed reader. Using a FeedFlare to put an ‘Add a Comment’ link at the bottom of your feed items is also a good idea. FeedFlares are available under the ‘Publicize’ tab in your Feedburner control panel.

If you dont already encourage your blog readers to bookmark, digg or stumble your content… today is the day to get that set up. There are plenty of free tools & plugins to accomplish this task. I use the FeedFlare option through Feedburner (free). You’ll see the links beneath this post, just above the comments section. You might also look into Sociable or AddThis.

I use the “Share This” widget that brings up a drop down box with quite a few of the bookmarking sites.
