The StomperNet Five Live event finally came to an end around 6pm this evening. Adriana and I left after the closing presentation and headed to the Atlanta airport so she could catch her flight home. Even though we were both tired and ready to wind it down, I really hated to say goodbye. She is an absolute gem and it was awesome to finally get to meet her in person!
Between the airport and the Hilton, I managed to get myself mugged (I think?). Some of the guys I told the story to called it the “Atlanta Navigation System” and seemed to think I got a good value…
Let me just say: If you are driving in downtown Atlanta and an ambulance comes up behind you with its siren screaming and lights flashing, forcing you to pull off to the side of the road, be sure to lock your doors and roll up your windows and ignore strangers when you do
LOL enough said!
Anyway, I made it back to the Hilton a few dollars shorter but in one piece and met up with a group of folks from the conference. We all headed out to the Fire of Brazil where we had great conversation and a fabulous dinner. There were 6 of us total - myself plus Stephen, Dave, Rodney, Brook and Alex…

I’ve taken in so many names and faces, and so much information, that looking back over my notes its hard to believe some of them were taken only yesterday. My first objective is to organize those notes, and follow up with some of the cool people that I met here. What an awesome group!
As soon as I get back to the home office I’ll download the photos and share those with you - this has been a great trip…
G’night from Atlanta!

Hey Lynn,
Even though you didn’t come to Brazil I see you have had the chance to taste our famous “churrasco”.
I gain 2 pounds every time I go to one of those meat restaurants here-lol.
I’m glad you had a good time:-)

Thank you
I am going to try to post those pics today, as soon as I get a bit caught up. I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Eren - it was quite an experience! I have to confess I skipped the meat parade… the bar was so full with seafood and specifically various salmon dishes that I made a meal out of it!

Aw Lynn you missed the best part- “the meat”
Maybe you can go back some other time and ask for the “picanha” meat with is out of this world!
Write out the word on a paper and give it to someone so they know what you want- it is called picanha.
You’ll love it
