It’s Friday night and I am finally winding down after a super-productive week. The house is quiet, the weather calmed back down after the storms passed through earlier, and I’m enjoying the evening with a nice hot cup of hazelnut coffee on the back deck…
The trip to Atlanta last week was exactly what I needed. I feel refreshed, recharged and back on track. The last couple of months have been hectic, which I imagine was obvious from your end. My apologies - between the closing, the move and a million other details… well, I’m just glad to have it all behind me
Looking forward, I can already say that this is going to be my best year yet. I feel it, I know it, and I’m taking deliberate action toward making it happen. In fact, I spoke with a business coach earlier today and plan to work with him for the next 6 months while I tighten ship and map out some new goals. I’ll tell you more about him in a future post, and if we’re lucky I may even bring him in to share some insights in an upcoming webinar.
I’ve always encouraged entrepreneurs to find a coach, a brainstorming partner, and a point of accountability to self. Choosing that person is not always easy, but this opportunity fell in my lap during the StomperNet conference, and was the perfect connection at the perfect time.
Like I said, more on that later - and more details coming from cool people and cool ideas I took away from the StomperNet event. For now I’m going to enjoy the weekend, and hope you do the same!
Best,

I am wondering if there are any guide lines for finding a coach? Seems like this would be easer for some one that has been around the business for a year or more, however for some one new it seems to be much more difficult.

I think its about finding someone you can work well with - someone that is a good match for you personally. I would join discusasion forums in your niche and ask for recommendations - and then use the “free consultation” to determine if you’re on the same page.
What type of coach are you looking for specifically? Perhaps I could help you find a good match
