A lot of people have asked me about the Passive Income Guide. If you take a look at the site you’ll see that the guide is not yet available, but that I am still encouraging people to sign up to receive notification and a free chapter.

So what’s the deal? When will it be available? Did I forget about it altogether? <-- that's just a sampling of the questions I get regarding the Passive Income guide... so I thought I would give you a rundown of my excuses the details, and my thoughts on full launch of the ‘PIG’.

I earn the majority of my income passively. This type of eBiz model works out very well for me, and affords me plenty of free time to spend with my two children… and also have a life of my own. My personal experience and success with Passive Income ventures is the very reason that I decided to write a guide on the topic.

Of course, writing a guide and launching a product is not a Passive Income model . At least not upfront. Obviously that plays a small part in the reason that the guide is not yet available. But there are other factors involved in my decision to hold off as well…

When I originally announced the Passive Income Guide and put up the website, I did have plans to launch immediately. At that time I was taking care of my 92yo grandmother full-time, in addition to raising my two children as a single mother. Unfortunately my grandmother’s health became a major issue that year… and she passed away in September 2005.

During that year I put all of my projects aside to care for her and spend time with her. Those were days I would never be able to get back, and I am glad that I had my own passive income in place so that I could afford that much-needed family time.

During the time that passed, I discovered other Passive Income models and was testing & tracking current and new projects. The new information and ideas also played a role in my decision to delay the release of the guide… as I chose to revise the original draft and add several new chapters. At the moment it is a work-in-progress, and I am pleased with how it is turning out.

So yes - the offer for a free chapter is still available, and the Passive Income Guide is still on target for launch. When, you ask? I am not announcing an official launch date at the moment, but you can sign up at the Passive Income site to be the first one notified.
