The Different Types of Web Content


There are many different types of content: blog content, website content, newsletter content, profile content, audio & video content, content that makes sales, content that gets links, content that builds relationships…

Before we dig in to the Content Development series, its important to look at all the different types of web content. Which types you use will depend on your business model of course, and each type has its purpose towards your end goal.

We’ll do this in simple list format, which you can refer back to when creating (or modifying) your Content Plan – which will be the next topic in this series.

    @Hendry (if I may) – I believe that would be covered in Website Content….things like reviews, resources, downloads and such.
