It was the biggest shock I've had for a long time. A true larrikin, he lived every day to the fullest, and his passion and love for life, his family and the planet was evident in his every gesture. His smile will be remembered forever, and although I never met him, I feel like I've lost a true friend, my heart is heavy here in Sydney and I mourn him greatly. A huge loss to the world, but his legacy will live on. We should all show as much enthusiasm for life - every day - as Steve did. Hug a stranger today.
