Dan Reinhold of Wahumor.com is hosting a donation drive for Autism Speaks. This is a one week event, leading up to the Walk For Autism Research in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dan’s son has autism and he stays home as a full time father, donating 10% of the gross profits from his online business to the Autism Speaks research organization. Once a year he hosts a one-week donation drive, giving 100% of all donations to this wonderful cause.

Thank you for pointing that out, Donna! I fixed the link(s) in the original post so it should work fine now The donation drive is live until 5am Sunday morning I believe so less than 3 full days left to contribute and also download the products being offered.

Thanks for the heads up Lynn. I will look into donating for the cause and I will also post a Blog entry on my site tomorrow. I have a friend who’s son is also autistic and he did a 24 hour blogging marathon for donations to the hospital that treats his son. Thankfully he was able to raise a nice amount that could have lasting benefits. Take care and thanks again and of course thanks to Dan as well…:)

Unfortunately this special offer was only for a limited time as it was a donation drive for Autism Speaks. But Dan does it every year, so look for it to happen again Fall ‘09

There were only 7 products last year, so more than twice as many this year.
