I know that my updates are slow in coming, but I have much to share with you. I am busy catching up on things and hope to start posting some of those thoughts over the weekend.
So many cool things came out of my trip to Ed Dale’s OTE2 event. I got to hang out with Michelle MacPhearson (Ms Social Media Daily no less), talked to Mike Filsaime about team-building, spoke to Ed Dale about his new podcast titled Internet Marketing This Week (which I am now co-hosting, along with Michelle & Paul Colligan).
Kelly – “aggressive” is my nice way of saying “black hat” or spammy (lol). It was quite interesting, really. They talked about cookie stuffing, link building and those kinds of things. Dan Raine is a brilliant marketer. He made me cringe with the topics, but the content was excellent. Of course, we also talked about the risks and longevity of such tactics.
All said and done it was an awesome trip, and I met some incredible people. I am finally home and back at my desk, catching up on 11 days worth of email & other tasks, and already planning my next trip

The one take-away I can provide in being a member of your Elite Group or just as a newsletter subscriber is that you always provide value for us. Even though financially we are not able to attend some of these events, I feel as though I personally attended them when I see your videos, photos and hear you talk about what you learned.
