Google Phone Review
The audio in this video interview is terrible, so I’ll give you a text version as well. We were standing in the casino at the Venetian Hotel, and we ultimately got cut off to avoid getting the camera confiscated by hotel security.
I was talking to Gina Gaudio-Graves of TheIMuniversity.com while in Vegas for the Inner Mastermind event. Gina is a huge fan of the new Google Phone and shared some of the top reasons why she is so in love with it…
Gina says: The Google Phone is the most amazing piece of technology. I can do everything that I need to do from this one piece of equipment, with the exception of creating web pages – and as of Monday they are coming out with an HTML editor.
The screen is a touch screen and I can surf the web, check in to Twitter, and of course use any Google application with it. It also serves as a business card scanner and bar-code scanner.
If I’m in a store and I want to know the best price on a product, I simply use my screen to scan the bar code with my Google Phone. It opens a Google map and shows me every store that carries that product, and includes location details as well as the price at each location.
You can then sort by distance or sort by price. And you can click one button and your Google Phone will call the store to check availability even!
It also works as a phone of course, and the service is awesome. Gina says that the service only costs her $24.95/month through T-Mobile – with no additional bandwidth or usage charges.
Looks pretty cool! If you are using the Google Phone too, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
Best,

Yes gina i must agree this is truly the greatest piece of equipment i have ever owned. I have had mine for almost 1month as of the 21st of nov and i would not trade it for the world. Sometimes i catch myself just holding it and starring at the beauty. Great design, great functionalty, G1-and-only
I’ve heard alot of good things about it except for it’s wireless carrier – T-Mobile. I had T-mobile in past and it was bad. But it’s probably ok in the big cities.
So have been thinking about iPhone even thought they’re with ATT whose wireless technology is compatible with overseas setups.
But then again … Maybe I’ll just stick with my regular old boring cell phone! LOL

Last year, I was torn between buying an itouch or an iphone. I have had Verizon for years without complaint and would need to switch to AT&T to use the iphone. The guy at the Apple store suggested that I NOT make the switch to AT&T saying their service in Phoenix (the 5th largest city in the US) was miserable. I know their reputation is awful, so I thanked him for the advice and bought an itouch.
Why Apple tied themselves to All Trouble & Trash is beyond me.

Google phone is the love of my life right now. This thing is the maestro of technology and is way better than the iphone. Its user friendly and has got an amazing design.
Cheers for google phone =)
I really like this phone too, the full qwerty keyboard almost seals the deal – but I too can’t help but notice this IS t-mobile. I’m waiting til I hear some more on it.
I love my google phone. I love that it’s on t-mobile too. I’ve been on t-mobile for the past 2 years and have not had any problems with them at all. I used to be on ATT, but got tired of their really bad customer service.
I wrote up a couple of video reviews of the google phone over on my blog, here are the links:
