Eavesdrop on a real Mastermind Group

There are mastermind groups forming behind the scenes all over the ‘net. Small groups of like-minded people get together and share ideas, talk solutions, and make things happen.

I’m involved with a couple of different mastermind groups myself, and they can be incredibly powerful. Some of them form out of friendships or mutual connections, others out of a desire to work together on a peer project.

I’m involved with such a group leading up to the Niche Affiliate Workshop event in Atlanta at the end of the month, and that group includes: Willie Crawford, Mark Hendricks, David Perdew, Alex Sysoef and Jeff Herring…

On Monday January 12th, we are all going to get together on BlogTalkRadio for a brainstorming session – and you’re invited to listen in live!

This will give you the opportunity to eavesdrop on a real mastermind group, as we all grill each other on strategies and secrets.

Here are the details:

Monday 1/12/2009, 3:00 PM eastern time

Call in number to listen: (646) 200-3938

Or listen on line at
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/DavidPerdew
You can set a reminder for the show at that link as well.

Get YOUR Questions Answered!

If you could ask any one of these guys ONE question, what would you ask them? Think carefully, because you only get one. Well, I’ll give you one each for: Willie Crawford, Mark Hendricks, David Perdew, Alex Sysoef and Jeff Herring.

I get to GRILL these guys on Monday afternoon, and I may just pick your question to use on them.

Even if you dont want to submit a question in the comments below, be sure to log in and listen live on Monday. It should be a lot of fun ;)

Best,

p.s. To get the details on the workshop we’re all involved with at the end of the month, see: http://www.nicheaffiliatemarketingsystems.com. The deadline to register cheap & get the good hotel rate has been moved back 2 days to Wednesday January 14th – so you have plenty of time to decide!

Thanks Lynn, for the offer to get questions answered.

My question would be, “Do you need to be beautiful or handsome to do affiliate marketing?”

Ok, that’s not the real question. :P

The real question is, “Besides methods, processes and strategies, which most IMers do have an idea on what they are, what are the factors that REALLY make you stand out in the niche?”

  2. Chantelle says:

I will be there. I have a questions that needed answering like 6 months ago.

Now i get to ask an expert.

I like to see blog/site owners getting together to build on what we already have.

I can’t wait until Monday, sounds like it will be a great preview of what’s to come!

I don’t have any questions, but I won’t miss this for anything short of the…uhh…end of the world? :)

  5. Chris says:

    Lynn

I look forward to the Atlanta brain trust. My question is: How do you know when to abandon an AdWords campaign if you are getting some sales but not enough to cover your cost?

    Thx, Chris

These are great general marketing/ebiz questions, but this is not an open Q&A – rather, its an opportunity for the people on the air to ask each other questions that are specific to their personal success.

If any of you listen to the IMTW podcast, it would be similar to me asking Ed Dale exactly how he advertises on Facebook to get the results that he does (that was in the year end podcast, episode #8 I believe).

I only get to ask a question or two of these guys, so I really want to make it count ;)

We can get general marketing information from any of them, anytime. What we want to know is something specific about them and what they do.

  7. Hi, Lynn, thx for the oppotunity. I’m going through the advance videos now. Solid wisdom there!

My question for the WP guy, Alex Sysoef, is do you always have to upgrade your WP blog to the latest version? Since they change often, how do you make a decision whether or when to upgrade?

A question for Jeff Herring: Can an older previously submitted article I authored be reworked into a new article optimized for certain terms, with new title? I find I do better with a “jumping off place” to get an article going. Am I on the right track? Wondering if I get too close to my own words, will it be tagged as duplicate content?

I know it will be good, whatever questions you get to ask, Lynn. Tx.
    Best for now,
    Mary

  8. Rats, Lynn. I am working at my software training J.O.B. on Monday. I sure hope the mastermind session will be recorded so I can listen to it Mon eve.
    Bill

  9. For Mary Gallagher,

Mary, whenever there is an update to WP, one of the first people you will hear from is Alex. If the upgrade is complicated he will do a video showing exactly how it is best done. If it’s fairly simple, he will simply recommend you do it.

Alex NEVER leaves his clients in the hole. I have operated my blogs on both the Web 2.0 Wealth and the Expert WordPress systems, and Alex has been there anytime help was needed.

I am so very pleased to see that Alex, David, and Lynn are working together. I’ve only just started with Lynn and David, but I already sense the same commitment to their members as I have experienced from Alex.

  14. Asha Walter says:

    Hey Lynn,

First of all i’d like to say i really like your blog, very down to earth and appealling. I like your content, especially using video as a form of content.

So i know i missed out on submitting a question that you could ask the gurus, but if i could still ask any question it would have been? “When they first started out, if they ever lost their motivation, what was it that helped them to get back on track and help them to reach their goal?”

I am certainly going to listen in on the link of the group discussion and want to thank you for sharing this.

I look forward to reading your newsletter and best of luck in 2009.
    Asha
