Need Original Content & Articles?
Original content is what sets your website apart, and earns you points with both visitors and search engines. The problem most people have is writing it.
On the flip side, good writers (and good researchers) arent always web designers, site owners or internet marketers. Communities like Freelance Work Exchange and Elance step in to bridge that gap and create a win/win situation for both groups.
You might need to outsource content development if:
- You hate writing articles.
- You stress over writing content pages.
- You never get around to writing content.
- It takes you too long to complete writing projects.
- You have better (or more profitable) things to do with your time.
In addition to unique content for your website, you can also outsource other writing projects such as: article writing, blog posts, autoresponder series, reports, ebooks, etc. Since most freelancers are incredibly affordable, and content is incredibly valuable, it pays to look into the ways you can make best use of this opportunity.
When I decided to add content pages to one of my product-based affiliate sites, I outsourced the task to one of my forum members. Discussion Forums are another great place to post requests for freelance help, work opportunities, etc. Since one of my own members specialized in freelance writing, I decided to try him out first.
This particular project was for my dart site at CorkitUp.com. Instead of dry content or the same old how-to articles, I wanted to add useful resources that I knew my dart-playing visitors would enjoy. I did a quick search at WordTracker to see what types of things they searched for, and chose to have a page written featuring the various Online Dart Games.
I was very pleased with the results. The turnaround time was fast, the price was super reasonable, and the content made a great addition for my little site.
To let you know ahead of time, you will most likely need to do a little editing and formatting before you add the content to your site – or submit it for syndication, if that is your preference – but those are minor details compared to the task of researching and writing the content itself.
