As I was surfing through my PayPerPost account, I noticed an opportunity titled PPP Photo Assignment where ‘posties’ were offered $10.50 to show a photo of themselves with ‘PayPerPost.com’ written on their body somewhere. (No iffy photos allowed, of course)
I got curious just how many people took this assigment and did a search on Google Images (nothing there, which is odd), Flickr and YouTube (because there were also video assignments). I got some good laughs!
This photo gets my vote as favorite of them all:

Nice tan lines!
The videos were pretty funny too. Some of them were very dry. Some just plain silly. There were a few creative ones that I liked. But this is the one that stood out to me:
If I were Ted Murphy, I would hire this girl to do the PayPerPost commercial. She’s very animated, seems to be a good representation of their target market and is fun to listen to. The only thing is… I would give her a new backdrop. I had to watch it twice, because I found myself totally distracted by the contents of her closet!
Are you going to catch ME on YouTube doing something like this?
Probably not
But as for the Photo Opp… why not!
Here’s my contribution to the growing list of goofy photos to help get the buzz going about PayPerPost.com:

Consumer Generated Advertising

Before you go getting all puffed up and accuse me of exploiting my own child… She is my cool little 10 year old daughter, and she thinks I’m the coolest mom in the world. Anything I’m doing, she mimics - and she loves to be involved with my work…
The markers were washable, we giggled and had silly fun doing it, and she got the 10 bucks that was earned

Ohhhhhh, those legs!!
Be still, my beating heart!
If only I’d get my PPP approval, then I too could use myself as a notepad.
But not in sight of my teenage son, whom I just chided the other day for doing so. That always brings up that boring old “Do as I say, not as I do” argument…
