This is an awesome list of useful wordpress plugins to encourage commentary on a blog!:) Personally, I have been using CommentLuv, KeywordLuv and the Dofollow plugin to encourage readers to add value to the discussion. Anyway, I might want to implement Comment Relish on my blog as well. It looks like a pretty good idea to thank a new reader for contributing to the discussion. Just one question, for the dofollow plugin right, is there a specific one that you would recommend because there seems to be quite a few available for installation? Would love to hear your views on this.

Have you had any issues with spammers abusing your comments? I mean, besides me.

As always, great stuff here. You did a post not too long ago where you talked about how you’re making your blog more “user friendly” for Internet Marketers. In it, you talked about the various plugins you use for this blog. One of the plugins automatically inserted the “follow me on Twitter” tagline to each comment. I’m going to continue to dig through your blog to find it, but can you post the link to it here – or at least let me know what plugin I’m trying to find?

I *hate* to sound like a pest here but I did manage to figure out the “related posts” part so far but I think I forgot to mention one crucial detail in my description.

(The crucial detail that will hopefully save me the hours needed to search through all of the related posts plugins available – and let me say – there are a TON of them …)

The crucial detail being … that this plugin doesn’t simply add a list of related posts to the bottom of your new post but directly in the content.

For example, let’s say I was writing a new post about Red Widgets but in this new post I mention the words Blue Widgets. The plugin will automatically find and link the words Blue Widgets to a previous post I made about Blue Widgets.

Does that help lessen the search area?

Not sure if it’s called that, but a search on Google for those 3 words should get you what you’re looking for!

(That is if you can decifer my probably not-so-great description of this plugin, lol!)

I believe this plugin will automatically link to a previous post when you mention something along the same topic in a new post.

I actually found this particular post by doing a search for “enter your name @ your keywords in the name field” to find what the plugin was after seeing it on your other posts. Ironically I end up here.

From what I’ve seen here on this end, I really like the Keyword Luv plugin and plan to install it on my blogs.

I’m also like you in that it has to be a pretty darn good comment for me to approve any with only keywords used for the name. Personally they tend to frustrate me simply because there’s always this wonder in the back of my mind if it is a legitimate comment or just a sly way to sneak in some keywords. (Spam … Grr!)
