It is a one-day event on January 11th with a a pre-party the night before the event, and an after party the night of the event.

What do you think is the next best value we'd be getting from such event besides the "secrets" exposed by the experts and networking with others?
It's hard to say since this is my first time attending a Social Fresh event. I'm not familiar with them so I'll be finding that out myself on this trip.
That said, we'll all have different objectives for any event. I'm going to this one to hear Jason Falls speak, to meet the Social Fresh team, to learn from and network with new people, and to meet up with some friends that are going. I always walk away from an event with a new resource or idea, so it's always worth it!
Our main focus for the event is case study centric content. Examples from Fortune 500 companies invested in the space and some of the top independent professionals in social media. The speakers are very talented and full of useful information. Beyond that, we heavily emphasize networking with a lounge mingle area and 30 minute breaks in between sessions.

I know it is not necessarily closer but we also have Social Fresh Tampa. We have looked at Atlanta and will likely have an event there, but not in the first half of 2010.

Sounds like a great event! Wish I could make it from Chicago but since NAMS is coming up I'm not able to swing another plane ticket quite yet ha ha. Looking forward to hearing all about it.

Most people don't take the time to test any type of results that they get from their blogs, social media, or websites. I think the net is full of overload. A great strategy is to pick one or two tools on the Internet and stick to them. If you try to do everything, you will go crazy.

What county do you live in? I used to live in Germany, Heidelberg and Berlin and they had tons of stuff!!! A lot of holidays too!
I'm finding there are events all over the world. I'm flying to Australia to attend one next month. You may do well to study how they are organized and consider hosting events or meet-ups in your area!
