Without Backlinks, You Have Nothing.
Now that’s a big red headline if I ever saw one
…
And it’s mine! Well, mine along with my partner Paul Short. He’s actually the brains behind this brand new product that we’re (finally!) releasing publicly. It actually started out as a secret resource that we only discussed during our private brainstorming chats.
And then… I said “we really need to share this.”
You could have heard a pin drop over the Plantronics Headset, I tell ya.
As you can see, I did talk him into it.
This just went live today. There is no fancy cover graphic, no affiliate program, no nothing. All of that is in the works. In the meantime, you can download this incredible package (seriously, you will be amazed!) for more than 30% off the $97 price – which is already a sweet deal!
See http://www.5000backlinks.com/special for all the details.
This is so easy that ANYone can do it. You can do it yourself, or you can outsource it – and either way, everything is all set up for you to get started right away.
Super simple!!
As you know I’m heading out later this week on a trip, so I’ll set up all the “pretty site stuff” when I return next week. Go ahead and grab this package now while you can get the pre-launch price, and you’ll also be the first to get news of the affiliate program as soon as it’s available! That will give you a chance to try it out for yourself, write up a proper review, and see some fast results.
There is an email address inside the package. Send me a note there once you’ve looked over the package, and tried it out. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
Best,

p.s. If you’re reading this blog post then you already know me well enough to know my “quality control” standards and my 100% satisfaction guaranteed refund policy. And you also know I say what I mean, and mean what I say. So unless you don’t need fresh backlinks, or you would rather wait and pay full price next week, grab the 5000Backlinks package today for only $67!

OMG, Adriana, same here! I promised myself I wouldn’t buy anything new now and then Lynn goes and does this, hehehe.

So there goes our first resolution for the new year.

Hey Lynn and Paul, looks like a great package! I’m gun-shy when it comes to backlink lists since the quality isn’t very good or it’s abused but since this has Lynn behind it, I won’t pass up on it.
The indexing guide sounds pretty sweet. Any danger of these sites getting angry if all a sudden bunch of us are using these packets?
Follow me @alanpetersen on Twitter.
Hi Alan,
There’s such a variety of different kinds of URLs in this package and everyone will use them differently, so there shouldn’t be any problems with that.
The key to using them is to shake it up and link to different pages and sites you have. The more variety the better when you’re link building.
Hope that helps

K, I gave in and bought the package. Now I just need to put my VA’s to work
Follow me @imsweetie on Twitter.
That’s the way to do it! And this package is set up to be VERY outsource-friendly, as that is how we originally intended to use it ourselves

I also had the rule also this year to not buy anything that would distract me from my goals. But this will only take me closer, thanks Lynn!
Follow me @elizaashe on Twitter.
Ok Lynn, I read the info. page, but still need clarification cause I learn better by examples. If I have a site that sells speciality t-shirts for example, you’re going to show me how to find t-shirt related places to submit my URL and I’m going to get other t-shirt places to link my site? Or both? Is this appropriate for someone who just launched a niche affiliate site too?
Follow me @Kimmoy on Twitter.
Hi Kimmoy,
There’s a technique in the Power Tips Guide that enables you to find any niche URLs you want. All you have to do is modify the technique to suit your needs.
But also, a variety of inbound links is good because almost any link has value, not just ones that point from another t-shirt site. Don’t be afraid to get links from any legit place you can. They all help, even if it’s a little.
Follow me @paulshort2 on Twitter.
I answered this further down too, Kimmoy – look for my response in blue
Follow me @lynnterry on Twitter.
Thank you both for what seems like the answer to what i’ve been asking lately: “OK, writing comments is great, but how do I find the sites that will approve my links?”.
I do have a questions, though.
In order for these links to be “valuable” links (from what I understand…) they need to be from sites with high relevance (or at least some) to our niche, right?
How do I know if your package covers my niche?
Nicole
Hi Nicole,
There’s a more detailed reply in my answer to Kimmoy above.
One thing I find about link building, or any form of marketing for that matter, is that the more things get repeated and passed on from person to person, the more they’re believed to be fact.
Yes, this would be an ideal scenario: “A PR9 link in a raving review from a high traffic Dog Training site to your Dog Training site.” It would definitely benefit you and your site more.
But spending all your time and energy just to find those “Perfect links” would be your downfall.
Your time would be better spent getting as many legit links as you can, because as those links age and the sites they’re placed on gain value over time and that value gets passed on to your site as it ages.
I hope that helps.
Follow me @paulshort2 on Twitter.
So you’re saying quantity is better than quality? As long as you have reputable (high ranking sites) linking to your site, it’s better than having relevant sites linking to your site? I guess I’m not clear on what the true value of links is…
Follow me @Kimmoy on Twitter.
I discussed that in this post, regarding how links are valued:
http://www.clicknewz.com/2115/quality-inbound-links/
Obviously you want relevant inbound links, so you’ll probably create your own resource by handpicking from the list you get in the package. That said, some links are valuable regardless of relevance.
Also, a lot of people think that the ideal link is to get a dog training link from a dog training site to your own dog training site, to use Paul’s example. Unfortunately these are hard to get as they are competing sites, and it normally won’t happen. So what you really want are complimentary sites linking to yours, instead of competing sites. Make sense?
An example of complimentary sites might be a cooking blog to a kitchen appliance site. A pet forum to a hamster blog. A webmaster’s site to a hosting company.
Follow me @lynnterry on Twitter.
Hi Lynn,
This whole package looks great and if it wasn’t for the fact I’ve been following you for a while now, it would probably end up in the too good to be true camp;)
One question though – if you sell hundreds / thousands of these things, isn’t there a risk that the sites we are getting links from either work out something is going on, or Google gets wind of it and spoils the party and worse sees it negatively?
Or am I just being paranoid……
Follow me @ukcatalogue on Twitter.
Hi Wendy,
Variety is the key here.
Not everyone will be going to the exact same sites at the same time and trying to get the same links. There are so many in the package and your links will be different from everyone elses.
The way you use the tools and info is different from how someone else uses them, so there shouldn’t be a problem as long as the product is used legitimately.
Follow me @paulshort2 on Twitter.
I must admit, I didn’t see this one coming. I’m checking it out real closely coz if Lynn likes it then it must be good! However, due to Christmas and all (meaning TOTALLY broke lol), I’ll have to wait a couple weeks and pay the full price. But I’m ok with that.

Well, count me in with those who’ve already commented about not especially wanting to purchase something new. And like the others, since Lynn’s name is attached it made my decision easier.
Since I am my own VA, I just finished the initial phase of the setup for my blog…I and clicked “publish” at blogspot. I must admit I’m not thrilled with the template choices but understand those can be changed.
“After the fact,” though, I do have a question or two…when you say to check the url of the new blog in about 2 hours, is the “new url” the one that I just set up…or is it the one I’m wanting to get traffic to?
And, now because I now have this new blog, am I supposed to keep posting to it regularly?
I’ll delve into the rest of your 5000 information in the other files that came with it later.
Now it’s one hour, 55 minutes.
Thanks.

In a while, put the domain name of the site you want indexed, your main site whose URL you used in the special.txt file, into Google’s search box.
Just like in the screenshot in the Instant Indexing Guide, you should see something similar to that.
The new blog – hey, why not use it! Each time you post there just include a link or two to new pages on your main site = more inbound links and indexing/traffic opportunities.
Use all the tools at your disposal

I am really new at selling on line and use templates for everything. Is this something that requires a little bit of training or experience? I have been reading Dan Theis’ free book on SEO and have found that I am not up to par on the technical aspect. Sometimes I feel like I’m a little over my head.
Without actually knowing either way (your experience, the product) your comment about the technical aspect, felling a little in over your head, I just wanna say, having been there like most, that’s good.
It means you are getting there because none of this is simple or straight forward but the only way to get there is to keep plugging away and learning as you go along.
It struck me because it’s also this way with anything online, marketing, building websites, blogging, being social, building a list, whatever, the only way to really get anywhere is to do, test, change, grow.
If it was easy we would all be doing it..oh wait, we are!
Not to put a dampener on your comment, but quite the opposite.
If it gets hard there is always someone else who can help in some way…in this case I suppose Paul or Lynn being owners know more than most..including me so I won’t comment on that and the product.
Go forth Rowena, the end result is there for you to grab, you only.
Hope it helps in some way.

Hi Lynn and Paul, this looks like a great product. I am a total newbie regarding marketing my site and business online and so I am wondering if this is a product suitable for a beginner?
Thanks,
Jill

Hi Jill,
This product is only suitable for you if you are specifically at a point in your online business where you need backlinks. If you are not sure, then it is probably not for you. Personally I think that everyone needs this, but I do live by the saying “buy only what you need, right now, to accomplish what you are trying to achieve right now.”
Do you have a website, and if so are trying to get your pages to rank for specific keyword phrases? If so, you need backlinks
Let me know if you have any questions. I can point you to specific tutorials here on ClickNewz about link building if you need them!

Thanks Rob, I’m almost off the fence – Is this something I will be able to do on a part time basis? Is it daily? Weekly? I am willing to give up sleep, but that’s all I have to offer right now : ) But, really need to develop a second income!!
You can use this as much or as little as you want, when you want. But it’ll be most effective if you’re getting at least a few varying links to your sites each week.
The search engines love new stuff, whether that be new content on your site, new links from different pages, etc. So the important thing is that you’re doing something whenever you can to build content or promote your site.
Something, no matter how little, is always better than nothing
Follow me @paulshort2 on Twitter.
You already have a website or blog, right? Backlinks alone won’t create a second income, but I’m assuming you have a site to promote. Just wanted to be sure
Follow me @lynnterry on Twitter.
Hope you can clarify something for me: I have been doing some affiliate marketing but am getting ready to set up some websites (both WP blogs and regular websites). I am seeing 2 different opinions from different(seemingly reputable)internet marketers. One group says do not monetize a new website for at least a month or you will end up in the Google sandbox for 6 mo. The other group (mostly the ones who sell the auto website generators including affiliate plugins etc) say just put your website up, drive traffic and watch the sales come in. Do you have an opinion on this? If you can monetize right away of course it seems it would be good to use backlinks to drive traffic but now I am concerned about monetizing a new website right away.
Follow me @mjonesmarketing on Twitter.
Rather than be stuck between two popular opinions, it’s better to just put up your sites and start consistently adding content and getting links.
Overanalyzing and reading too much into all the opinions causes uncertainty, which destroys your drive and ambition. But getting out there and doing it will ultimately be the only thing that’ll bring you results.
Sorry if that sounds corny, but it’s a fact.
Search engines love new content to include in their index and they find that content through links, not opinions.
Not trying to be blunt. Just trying to help
Follow me @paulshort2 on Twitter.
I’ve heard the same Marcia, but I’ve never had a problem getting a commercial site (with quality content) indexed or ranking. That said, in order to get it indexed and ranking you need backlinks – regardless of what you decide on the monetization. So the backlinks wouldn’t be a factor in that decision – you definitely need those
Follow me @lynnterry on Twitter.

Lynn, and I’d value Paul’s opinion on this,
What would you say to a guy like myself who is afraid to make any effort of aggressive backlinking? In fact, I’ve never intentionally tried to build any links to my main blog. It’s all very organic and completely natural (and nearly 99% out of my hands). I feel like the existing links are very legit and Google apparently agrees as they give me great love. Thanks big G.
My question is, at what point do I risk my great relationship with Google by “trying” to get back links instead of just letting them happen naturally? I understand this is not feasible in most people’s markets and would be a slow process for others. My blog has been going for 4 years with no SEO manipulation or backlink strategy.
I’d have no problem building lots of back links to most of my other sites but I’m honestly scared to do much of anything with my blog. Do you think having a fear of getting too many back links to my blog is a legit one?
Follow me @jasonmoffatt on Twitter.
Hey Jason,
Since your blog is already doing well and has an established rep, and random pattern of acquiring inbound links, if you suddenly started anything aggressive that didn’t reflect that established pattern it could potentially throw up some red flags.
Sites do get dramatic spikes of activity all the time though, as you know. Like if you put up a killer post or vid tomorrow and suddenly a thousand people linked to it, and it’s fine. But with an established site it’s best to err on the side of caution in your own linking efforts.
Ramp up gradually but randomly, and build up extra links over time. That, plus the organic and random linking pattern that happens anyway, keeps everything appearing natural.
And for everyone else’s benefit in this thread, I’d also like to stress that a mix of different kinds of promotion, like social media, forum participation, blog comments with a link back, article marketing, organic linking that happens beyond your control, etc. is always good.
That’s why we included such a variety of URLs in the package.
It’s also why we’ve been stressing in this comment thread and by email, that people with a niche Dog site shouldn’t just be concentrating on links from other dog sites and ignoring everything else.
If I have a Dog site that I’m building links to, it’s only natural for me to be interested in other things like celeb gossip or blogging, so if I comment over at problogger or Perez Hilton I’m going to link my name to my Dog site in the comments.
Hope this helps

Suzi

Hi Suzi, I’m obviously not Lynn but I’ll try to answer
Yes, there’s no reason why you can’t sign up for forum links in the package or comment on blogs and then go back there again and participate in the forums (sig links) or comment on those blogs again. For the social media sites included, just leaving a link and never visiting again probably wouldn’t benefit you as much as if you picked a few to build out your profiles on over time.
Also, for 12 months you’ll get an extra 60+ fresh URLs per month.
Also! There’s techniques in the Power Tips guide that shows you how to get any links you want, from just about any site in any niche, for as long as you want to use those techniques.
Using it for any website for as long as you want won’t be a problem and as you use it you’ll come up with new techniques and ideas on your own.

I know that if Lynn is backing this, it’s a good product. However, I’m still struggling to understand what it would offer to someone like me who only does affiliate marketing for PHYSICAL products. I don’t do any reports, WAHM information, IM ebooks, etc. How can this help build good, solid links when the variety of physical products is so vast?
Follow me @Jeanettehauser on Twitter.
Hi Jeanette,
All types of sites need backlinks. It doesn’t matter if it’s a one-page salesletter, a squeeze page, a blog, a content site, a squidoo lens, an affiliate site, or a blogger blog. Backlinks are what get them indexed, and help them rank well for their keyword phrase.
We all have different models, different products, and different types of products (including services), but we all use backlinks to get those things found by people and search engines.
