There are three very good opportunities to explore here:
1) Set up a mobile store and sell products
2) Set up mobile stores for businesses as a service
3) Sign up for the Affiliate Program and tell others about it
Mobile computing is a new phenomenon and also it is a great tool in the hand of the people who are on the move. This also explains the fact that there has been a recent debate on the ethics in mobile computing and the quality of the sites that are available on the mobile devices.

Great find on this as I had never heard of it before the other day when I saw you tweet about it.
I have been studying mobile for over 4 years and it took iPhone Apps to get mainstream to take mobile more serious.
If you look at the mobile market globally (especially Japan), you will see how much mobile is already and integral part of people's everyday lives.
The US is the market that is behind on this one.
But I agree with you Lynn, the trend is here. Time to cash in!

Providing the option for mobile users on your site is now a must. More and more users are moving to their smart phones, and if you do not setup your site to work to accommodate these users, your going to be leaving a lot of traffic on the table. Another way to get a mobile store is to use Magento Commerce free software and add and Iphone theme. This way you get a real online store aswell as a mobile store 🙂
