I don’t know about you, but I want COOL sites!

Yesterday I did the live call & interview with Christina Hills, and if you were on that call – or you’ve listened in to the replay since – then you already know just how impressed I was.

We discussed Christina’s live, hands-on workshop where she teaches you how to use WordPress. And not just to create a traditional blog, but also: websites, landing pages or squeeze pages, sales letters, ecommerce sites, membership sites – basically any type of website you can imagine!

What impressed me most were the screenshots we went through together – actual sites (blogs, membership sites, sales pages, etc) from people who had taken her past workshops.

I’ve always known that WordPress was super flexible, and that you could do just about anything with it you please. But I never ended up with the quality of results like I saw yesterday. I always end up with something like this…

:-|

We looked at a lot of different examples and site types, and I’d like to share one of those with you here. This site was created with WordPress – by a financial guy (definitely not a web geek) – after taking Christina’s workshop:

It’s not hard to do. It’s just a matter of knowing how to do it. Unfortunately I just haven’t taken the time to dig in and learn on my own. And honestly, I don’t always get the results I want by outsourcing the set-up & design either.

I don’t know about you, but I want cool websites!
Websites that wow visitors and convert.

I decided to sign up for Christina’s workshop. It starts next week, and you have until later today to decide and get signed up. As I’m writing this, there’s a little over 8 hours to go before the registration period ends. You can check the site to see how much time is currently left to join in.

What sold me on signing up? I’ll tell you…

  • The timing. NOW is the time to learn, set up sites and get prepared for the holiday shopping season. You don’t want to wait until Fall to begin any holiday sites/promotions. I have several affiliate sites I want to completely revamp before the big sales season.
  • Personal coaching, and hands-on instruction from Christina. I’ve tried learning some of this on my own – like setting up membership sites with WordPress. I don’t have (or make) the time, and I get frustrated trying to figure out all the technical details.
  • The BONUS :D The first 24 people to register get a bonus training session on creating awesome membership sites with WordPress. (there are still spots left to claim that bonus, as I write this)
  • Results. I want great looking sites that leave an impression, and convert my visitors. Period. I don’t want to settle for less than that, or pull my hair out trying to create them on my own.

I’m really excited about getting started! The live workshop begins next week, and we’ll each have our own test blogs installed so that we can apply what we learn and work hands-on with a live project.

A big perk to the test blogs is that if we create something awesome during the workshop… we’ll be able to transfer it and make it live on our own domain if we want to. I plan to dig in, learn & implement, and come out on the other side of this with an awesome working website. ;)

This is not your typical online course of info-product!

Listen in the replay of yesterday’s call if you haven’t already. Christina went into great detail explaining how the live workshop is conducted, how much interaction there is, and exactly what you can expect to get from her personally:

This is perfect for you if you want to create awesome websites & blogs, landing pages & sales pages. It’s also great for those of you that are interested in starting a service based business as a site/blog designer. Of if you’re interested in becoming an online marketing consultant to offline/local businesses that desperately need to get online (a huge market!).

Listen in to the replay and look over the handout and examples today. You’ll be impressed with how the workshop is set up, and everything that Christina offers you during the live sessions. You can skip the replay altogether and click here to get registered if you’re already sure you want to join us.

Keep in mind that the deadline is today at 5pm Eastern.

Best,

p.s. Give this live workshop serious consideration. If you miss the deadline to sign up today, you’ll have to wait until the next workshop starts in the Fall…

That picture of that site above looks awesome and very professional. The arrow pointing down really gets your attention to the ‘buy’.

Christian, the arrow isn’t there on the live site although it would certainly get people’s attention *LOL* I’m betting that was one of Christina’s screen prints where she’s demonstrating that you can use WordPress to create e-commerce websites. :o )

Ha..ha I don’t think you will make an arrow like that on your website it will make people straight away think that you want to sell something once they reach your site. Anyway I’m agreed its look very COOL site.

  7. Lynn that is an amazing page. I have made huge progress on my own page playing with all the plugins. I also have a joomla site. You can hit my twitter to link to it. whatever, anyway! I installed advertising banners on both sites today. WordPress = 48 seconds with scaling time. Joomla = 32 minutes with scaling time. I don’t really speak php that well yet so I recommend wordpress for any one…Newbie or veteran. I hope all is going well for you and I will be hooking up with your elite group very shortly. It’s time for me to give back all that I have learned.

I was shocked to find out the variety of sites that could be created using WordPress. Thanks, Lynn, for the heads up on this one!

After thinking about it for a while, I also realized that, not only is WP more search engine friendly, but it will be much faster for me to build ecommerce affiliate stores, as I will have less content to create. The pages I had started writing for my static site will simply get divided into different posts!

Yes, even the payment plan option was a challenge, but when I realized the advantages involved, it’s an opportunity I simply couldn’t pass. What are credit cards for after all?

Hope I qualified for the membership bonus webinar. Can’t access the bonus section at the moment, but the gals are hard at work resolving the issue…

Guys, make sure you watch that replay now, or you may shortchange yourselves.

Is Christina’s website creation course available in any way other than just the live course that she only gives 2 times a year? I just listened to your call with her today and I am trying to get a wordpress blog/site set up but it’s much more complicated than what I thought. Does she offer a recorded version of her course or an ebook, etc. that I could purchase? Thanks
