There is an upcoming event in Las Vegas, October 6-8, called the RPM Summit. RPM stands for “Research, Publish, Market” and the speaker line-up includes: Mike Filsaime, Anik Singal, Keith Baxter, Rick Butts, Willie Crawford and more.
You have to sign up at RPMsummit.com to get details on the event. When you do, you will also get a 21-page report titled “The Authoritative Guide To Authority Sites“. I went ahead and signed up to check into it further, and the headline on the next page got my attention:
What If You Could Tap Into An Insider Group Of Experts Who Know Where The Web Is Headed, Exactly How Online Marketing Is Going To Change Forever, And Who Can Show You The Tools And Tactics Necessary To Be One Giant Step Ahead Of Your Competition Before They Even Know Their Marketing And Publishing Systems Are Woefully Out Of Date?
Unfortunately the event pricing is a little confusing. Once I clicked the button I saw a price tag of $997, but it mentions “trial info” and “member account”. I’m sure I’ll get more emails soon that explain it all in detail…
You can also go to http://www.livecallnow.com/rpm/ to register for a free call that Mike Filsaime is doing tonight (Sept 28th) in association with this event. The Topic: The RPM (Research, Publish and Market) Summit, discussing Web 2.0, social networking and building authority websites.
My copy of the ‘Authority Site Guide’ just showed up in my Inbox, so I’m off to check that out. If you have any other information on this event/summit/membership (whatever it is?), leave us a reply below!

Hi Lynn,
You’ve probably already figured out that the event is being put on by the folks at ContentDesk.com. I’m not able to attend, but sure wish I was going.
Since I’m not able to go, I haven’t been following it very closely. But IF it’s the same deal as the seminar they tried to do last year in New Orleans (just after Katrina… needless to say, it had to be canceled (well, turned into an online semianar is more accurate)), the event registration fee includes a trial membership in ContentDesk.
That’s how I discovered ContentDesk… signed up for that past seminar, got a trial membership, and got totally hooked! I’ll try not to pitch ContentDesk here (well, no more than I already have ;-), but if there’s any way you can go to this RPM event, do it. Trust me… Jack Humphrey and his CD team are, in a word, amazing.

Actually, since you use ContentDesk, I would love to hear more about it from your perspective. I’ll email you - I have a few questions
