Now that you know what to offer Super Affiliates, it's time to find them...

You'll want to refer back to our discussions on where to find JV Partners and how to recruit Super Affiliates. You'll start by looking in all the usual places: Google search, niche forums, active blogs, newsletters or mailing lists, and personal recommendations from other partners/affiliates.

Once you've exhausted those sources, there are a few more ways you can track down high-performing affiliates. You'll find a descriptive list in the guide on pages 21-22, but here is a quick checklist to go by:

• Search for popular products in your niche, or "product name review", and find the top ranking affiliates and advertisers.

• Find the most active forums & blogs in your niche. Are they promoting affiliate products? (If not, they may still be interested.)

• Take note of any current product launches. They have affiliate lists, and are usually affiliates themselves as well.

• Find active affiliates participating in that product launch and/or scan through the leader board.

• Search your keyword + "affiliate contest", "JV blog" or "affiliate blog". You can often find leader boards that are published.

• Search forums for competitors products, or popular products in your niche, to see who is posting reviews and/or stepping up to answer questions about them.

• Research the top articles in your niche at EzineArticles.com to uncover active affiliates.

• Browse through affiliate directories. Post your affiliate program there, but also scan through for potential JV partners that may be great super affiliates for your product.

• Create a Super Affiliate! You may very well find someone who has great reach in your niche, but is not yet an active (or very successful) affiliate. You can leverage their position and create a mutually beneficial partnership!

Your Task For Today:

You've already researched and made a list of potential Joint Venture Partners. Today, add to that by researching potential Super Affiliates. Tomorrow (Day Nine), we'll look at how to approach those affiliates.

p.s. You might consider using a spreadsheet to keep track of your JV/affiliate research. That way you can create columns for name, website, notes, date contacted, response, etc. If you don't already have a spreadsheet program, you can use the free Open Office program.
