Early Bird Passes for BlogWorld NYC in June!

Register now for BlogWorldExpo in New York CityEarly bird pricing for the BlogWorld & New Media Expo event in NYC this June just opened up yesterday.

This is a great opportunity to grab an event pass super cheap! πŸ˜‰

I jumped on the deal myself, and registered Angie and I to attend. It's June 5-7th in NYC. I've never been to New York, which has been on my list for awhile, and June 7th just happens to be my birthday (I'll be 39). So I'm really looking forward to it!

I'll probably stay over and do a little celebrating for this last birthday in my 30's. πŸ˜€

Surprisingly, the last time I attended BlogWorld was in Fall 2008. I enjoyed it SO much, it's shocking it's been 3 1/2 years since I attended!

If you hurry, you can currently get a FULL 3-day pass for only $147

While this event and community continues to grow (breaking attendance records and hosting peers from more than 50 countries in 2011), we've decided to buck the trend of escalating event prices and do something to help all of us with some economy-minded relief. We've lowered conference pass prices for 2012, making it easier than ever to access the rich educational content, community networking and business resources we enjoy together at BlogWorld.

That early bird pricing ends on February 22nd, 2012 - which is less than two weeks away. It's a GREAT event, and an awesome deal. Something you should definitely consider if you blog, podcast, or create any type of content online.

And I know that you do. πŸ˜‰

This is my referral link, and I would greatly appreciate your click if you choose to join us on my recommendation. We can call it an early Birthday Present. πŸ˜€
The event schedule is not complete yet, but I imagine there will be time to have a fun get-together on the evening of June 7th for anyone that is attending and would like to join us to celebrate my 39th birthday.

I'm super excited to be returning to BlogWorld. It was an AWESOME event, and I got a lot out of it last time I attended. I didn't sit in on many sessions because the networking was *so* good, but I plan on attending more sessions on this trip and soaking up as much information as I can!

Join the top bloggers and new media experts in the world at BlogWorld Expo NY 2012

I hope to see you there! πŸ˜€

Best,

p.s. BlogWorld is the one place you'll have the opportunity to meet the TOP bloggers in the industry. I made awesome new friends, cut deals, and formed relationships that have continued to be profitable & rewarding to this day...

  1. OMG, I am definitely making time to join this one. I was dying to go to Nams event but this one is so convenient since I live & work in NYC. Lynn if you need any information about the city or whatever you need feel free to ask me.

  2. Wow! A conference in my own backyard! I'm definitely going to see if I can go to this one. I'm so upset that I couldn't go to NAMS either. I'm right across the river, but I can give you any NYC tips too if you want. Definitely up for a party. No better city for it.

  3. LaRue Stanley says

Lynn, this is great news! I met you briefly at NAMS2 I think but I have since relocated to NYC. I now actually have an NYC tour guide license so please use me as a resource while you are here. I love to show off my city! Is Tawnya Sutherland coming as well?

    • Thank you! She hasn't mentioned it yet, she may be going to the social media event in Victoria at the same time. I was planning to go as well, but couldn't pass up this BlogWorld early bird special. πŸ˜‰

  4. Greg Meares says

    Terry,

I love NYC and so does my family. This gives me another reason to make a trip. Thanks!

  6. This seems like a great opportunity to get the stuff going and meeting people like us. I am so much in, will be asking my company for leave so that I can come and meet all the bloggers who I look up to and have learnt a lot from especially when it came to getting over the writers complex and the like.

    • The last one I attended was very high quality. And the caliber of speakers and attendees alike made for very good networking. I hope you get the leave and are able to join us!

  7. I'm so looking forward to going to Blog World (I have never been) AND of course celebrating your birthday with you.

  8. In my opinion Blog World is like a retreat, to focus, refresh and connect with blog and new media supporters, ideas and become a better writer. Overall I enjoy the networking and topics covered. Like I stated to me its like a retreat for β€œNew Media” people. I personally grow, learn, enjoy the sessions, grow in my blogging, connect and network, its fun, unique and helps encourage my writing process.

  9. I guess its Early Bird... and not Eary Bird in the title πŸ™‚

  10. This sounds like a great event... I would LOVE to attend. Thanks for sharing!!

While at the expo in 2011, I was sent an article by someone on twitter who was complaining that Blog World was to expensive and most of the content was readily available on the internet. As this may be true there’s nothing like a conference that helps you get away spend time time with like minded people who will help you more forward in what you desire to do. Even if the content is easily accessible and the money is and issue I’m sure not being able to go or finding similar content readily available may seem like detractors. All complaints aside, the focus on helping you curate great content, syndicate-distribute and monetize, the networking and other opportunities make it worth it. You can not make personal connections reading articles online. And for people like me who learn better in a classroom sitting and listening and who find inspiration gathering with others who like to do what we do helps motivate me. So despite the availability of information on the internet you don’t get free books from the authors or T-shirts by Googling the topics and doing personal research. The retreat-inspirational nature of the event has been an encouragement to me personally.

    • I agree Marshall. I attend a lot of industry events, for some of those same reasons. Though I'll say, in the past their tickets have been a bit higher - so I was glad to see these special rates this year. It makes it easier on a lot of people who also have to consider hotel & airfare.

  12. As a student I had visited this event a few years ago and was very impressed and excited after that. The event inspired me to start writing my own blog. I must say that this was a great sharing, as I am very excited to be an early bird and now officially attend the meet as a blogger. Feeling excited about the event. Thanks for sharing.

I am pretty excited to go for this blog world expo of 2012. I have been there last year and it was one amazing experience. You get to learn so much from so many different bloggers coming from all around the world. I just couldn't stop myself from collecting as many free goodies as I can and trust me they prove to be very useful. They provide so much information and knowledge regarding various aspects of blogging that you can apply on your blog as well.

  14. I would love to participate at this event. It is a great opportunity to meet people and to make some friends. I have never been to New York either, but just like in your case, it has been on my β€œTo do” list for a while. So, maybe this year I am going to see it. And maybe I am going to meet you and to say β€œHappy Birthday” to you, in person.

  15. I went to NYC twelve years ago. I know this expo even will be awesome. It's good they have such a huge event for blogs.

  16. I also want to go in blog world if it is in India.I visited many such type of expo in India but one time i want to go in blog world.

  17. This is a great opportunity to meet our blogger colleagues and share information and other helpful information. I am a fan of such meets and like attending them as they are great platforms for idea exchange and growth. Thanks a ton for putting this up, hope to see you there Lynn in New York City.

  18. Clay Franklin says

Too far for me to travel. Guess I should go to the one in Las Vegas this year. I need to get out more.

  19. Oops...its a long way to fly from Europe. I think it would be great if you inform something like this in Europe. Basically i'm bit lazy to take care of my own work :).

  20. Annette Golphin says

Hello Lyn, I got your blog because of Liz because she introduces your blog as one of the most inspiring blog and I immediately check you out. Anyway, love to join that particular event but I am too far to NYC.Looking forward to that event and I hope you will let us know. Thanks!

    • Great to meet you Nnette! πŸ˜€

I'll definitely post an update after the event and share details. And of course share pictures & tips on Facebook & Twitter during. πŸ˜‰

  21. Thanks for letting us know about the early bird pricing Lynn. I bought my ticket and am putting this on my calendar. All my girlfriends get the same gift for their B-Days. Think you can handle it?? πŸ˜€

  22. Personalised Workwear says

I too would love to attend but living all the way in the UK makes it impossible πŸ™

  23. Lynn, thanks for letting us know how low the prices are this year. I just bought my ticket. I've never been to Blog World before, but being as it's so close and so inexpensive, I can't say no.

  24. Hi Lynn,
