But if anyone knows then do share. It would be great if we could just buy a cuppa coffee at a McCafe and just sit there all day while surfing around (in case you don't actually work on your laptop and need absolute silence). I recently learned that Caribous Coffee is offering free wi-fi when you spend at least $1.50 per hour on beverages or food and Panera also offers free wi-fi with no additional purchase required. Even though I like Starbucks, they charge for wi-fi so I make a point of frequenting places that offer it for free and letting the staff know how much of an impact it made on my decision to go to their restaurant or coffee shop. Hopefully, many other local stores and national chains will follow suit! Even though I have wi-fi and high-speed at home, I love getting out into the world while I work! Jen Hi Lynn,
