My hair goes all the way down my back. I very rarely let a professional near it, trimming dead ends at home because so few stylists understand long hair. They'd rather shape it, etc. than neaten up the ends. I watch What Not to Wear too and it always drives me nuts when they insist long hair is trying to look young, trying to hide behind your hair, etc. Watching Nick push long hair in front of the face to show how you hide behind it makes me laugh because really long hair doesn't do that very often on its own. I had a hairdresser who chopped my hair up in the back and blamed the colors I had in it. Brother. The thing is, the only thing I had done to my hair was lighten it with Sun-In. The other colors were all natural. When I went back to get it fixed she was there. That's when I heard her lame excuses. She got fired a month later. I guess she messed up someone else's hair afterwards. I thought her excuses were pretty funny, but I'm glad they didn't let her stay. I agree. An apology would have been very nice. And she would have gotten my respect for admitting that she messed my hair. This was even more important to me than how she cut it. I understand what you’re saying. It was so bad, I ended up having to get a second cut and went from hair that went down my back to a very short do that was above my ears on the sides. Ouch! Actually, after a while I got used to it and it was kind of cute, but the cut that got me to that stage ...! Don't even want to think about it anymore :) Your cut looks fabulous, Lynn.
