People try all sorts of techniques for getting organized; from sticky notes to Franklin Planners.
The problem has always remained having the information available when and where you need it.
A sticky note on the fridge or your desk doesn't help when you're in the car - and no one carries a Franklin Planner to a ballgame...
Now, in the digital age getting organized is solved with mobile apps. However even with apps there remains the problem of sharing that information with others.
With the help of Cozi you can easily get and stay organized no matter where you happen to be. Cozi is the 2012 Appy Award Winner for Best Family-and-Parenting app. It allows you to effortlessly manage a shared calendar, shopping and to-do lists all while you're on the go.
Family members or colleagues can easily access Cozi from any computer or mobile (iOS, Android or Blackberry) device. No matter where or how they access Cozi, since it's cloud-based, they'll always be looking at the same information.
However, don't take my word for it, see our exclusive video walk through to see Cozi in action:
The applications for the Cozi app are as varied as the individuals that use it. That can be an individual, husband and wife, secretary and boss, members of a team or organization or an entire family; share one Cozi or have multiples. You can opt to use it to organize yourself, family or get your staff all on the same page.
Enter all your family's activities on the shared calendar so everyone knows at a glance whether or not a date is free. Add items getting low in your pantry to your Shopping list(s) so you have them with you when you decide to stop at the store. Better yet, you can ask another person on your Cozi list to stop for you! Just tell them to please check their Cozi app for the items you need. They have them at the touch of a finger and can simply cross off the items as they are purchased.
You can also use Cozi in business situations. Imagine yourself on your next trip with multiple people all going in their own directions during the day. What easier way to coordinate when and where to meet later? Simply add it to your Cozi app! Need the group to accomplish certain objectives as the trip progresses? Add it to the shared To Do list and they can be crossed off as they are finished. Make a list for each member of your party and get things really organized. How much or how little you integrate Cozi is entirely up to you.
Additionally the Journal included in the Cozi app makes it simple and fun to record a moment spent with our family and friends or capture information to share with your colleagues back at the hotel over dinner.

That's great Lynn, exactly the sort of app I've been looking for, but I have an Android!! Does anyone know if there's an android equivalent out there, as cozi doesn't seem to be available on google play. Ta!

Looks like the perfect app. I tried to download, but it is not available in Norway. Any idea if it will be available outside the U.S in the future?

Hi Kristin, This is Carol from Cozi. I'm really sorry we do not offer the full apps in international markets yet, but you can use your smartphone browser to access m.cozi.com, the Cozi mobile "lite" app. All you need to do is set up your family account from the web and then access m.cozi.com to see your calendar and shopping lists on the go. I hope that helps!

Kristin,
Isn't it frustrating when you hit roadblocks?
I have contacted the developers of Cozi to see when and if you should see Cozi in Norway!

Kristin I contacted the Cozi staff as promised and I wanted to give you their reply regarding using Cozi outside the United States:
"Regarding international availability of the Cozi apps, we aren't yet available internationally, but plan to release the apps internationally in the future. Unfortunately, we don't have confirmed timing yet.
In the meantime, anyone anywhere is able to use the Cozi website at http://www.cozi.com, and international users can access their calendar and shopping lists by going to m.cozi.com from their mobile browsers. This is definitely not as good an option as using the app, but could help them with mobile access until we're able to release the apps outside of the US.
Finally, as a possible work-around, some international users have told us that they've been able to download the app from a US-based account if they have access to one."
Me Again: You could also access the m.cozi.com website on your mobile device's Safari app and then use its options to add that page to your home screen. That way you could access Cozi straight from your home screen!
Hope this helps!
