Today’s e-Buy
I love to shop online. I know you’ve heard me say this before… but there is just nothing like shopping from a comfy chair with a hot cup of coffee in hand – and then having my packages delivered right to the door.
One of my most recent purchases online was a new pair of jeans. Now jeans are one of those things that us women can be picky about, but I finally decided to give it a shot – considering I had a 40% off coupon (thanks, Mom!) and they had an easy return policy. It could take hours at the store to find the right pair of jeans, but I was pleasantly surprised to find my 5-minute buy to be a perfect fit. I happen to be wearing them now, actually…
Of course, nothing beats a little ‘real shopping’ every now and then (*grin*). My daughter and I both had a friend over on Saturday, so the four of us hit a few local shops and picked up some shoes and sweaters and such. A spontaneous shopping trip for fun is one thing though… otherwise I dont really consider shopping ‘fun’ in general.
Today’s e-buy was an AC Adapter for the Laptop. I find eBay is the best place to locate & order these types of items, so I just headed there first and put the part number into eBay’s search box. Within minutes I had a buy-it-now order placed, making the purchase out of my PayPal funds.
Thanks to PayPerPost for that, by the way – my PayPal account never runs dry as they payout daily for approved blog posts

Speaking of PayPerPost, I did a blog post for them awhile back for home office furniture. It was 3 or 4 weeks ago, but I got sidetracked and never placed an order there. They have great prices on office chairs (great selection on styles too), and offer free shipping – so that’s next on my list of things to buy online…

I am definitely not a mall shopper, never have been, but I absolutely love shopping online. There is nothing more comfortable than shopping in comfort with a cup of coffee and having my goods delivered to my door several days later.
When Emily was born in 2000, we even found her stroller online. The most recent online purchase we made was a new filter for our refrigerator.
I always surf first to see if I can find it online, but clothes are something I haven’t been so brave about yet.

I know what you mean Patty, as I’m just now venturing into that myself (shopping for clothes online). So far I’ve been very happy with the first few orders though… so I’m guessing I’m close to hooked by now

(Mall) Shopping is not one of my favourite things to do and I generally try to avoid it. That said, I love shopping online; I do it so much my family teases me about it.
Even when I do venture out shopping, I usually look at an item and say, “Hmm…I can probably get this online. One less thing I gotta carry to the car.”
The order I placed at Amazon over a month ago was finally filled/shipped today (it was on back order) and it was for two DVDs: Ducktales Vol. 2 and The Adventures of the Gummy Bears. Don’t know if that counts though. If not, then the most recent order was my renewal to O Magazine.
Can’t say I’ve purchased any clothes online, though. I’m with Patty on that one, I still need to ease myself into it.

Here’s a tip for ‘easing into it’… Buy something that you already know you love, such as a new pair of your favorite jeans

Hey Lynn, I stumbled across this site through a forum. I definately love shopping from home just for the kick. It’s kinda like xmas, once your package arrives as often I forgot what I had ordered. Mmmhhh…. I better control myself…

Last online ordered item was a copy of “The Adsense Code” by Joel Comm through Amazon.com. Great Place to get books(used but in good condition and for mucho less than retail)
Even bought my Dixie Chicks concert tickets on line. It was a great show which happened on the 11th at the Tacoma(WA)Dome.
