PubCon Vegas 2006
WebmasterWorld’s PubCon event begins today in Las Vegas… and I wont be there this time around.
I had every intention of hopping on a plane and heading out to Vegas, for a few days at least. I wasnt planning to attend the entire event, but there were a few people that I wanted to see and speak with… and so I was planning to at least make an appearance.
Unfortunately, I’m still recovering from this lovely flu and thought better of putting myself on a plane in this condition. I doubt anyone wants to catch this from me anyway…

If you’ve never been to a PubCon event, you should consider their next get-together as well. Not only do they offer very powerful sessions for webmasters and site-owners, but the networking element is incredibly powerful within these groups. Make it a point to get yourself to a PubCon in 2007!
Keep an eye on the blogosphere next week, specifically anything tagged pubcon or vegas at technorati. That will give you an idea of what to expect from the WebmasterWorld events and motivate you to book for the Spring event!

yeah, i’m out for this one as well.
i really did want to go but i’m kinda ‘in the zone’ right now with getting stuff done so definitely next year again though
I can relate to that, Sandor – which is why I was only planning to go out for a couple of days (before getting this flu, that is). Being ‘in the zone’ is good, though
