Watch out! The Internet Marketers have invaded MySpace!
Yup, if you look below you’ll see “Joel dot Comm”, Christopher Knight, Chris Pirillo, Shawn Collins, Jeff Walker, and oodles more:
“Move over teens. You may be cute and chatty, but we’re older and we have better PageRank!”
If you can tell me what movie I stole that from… I’ll give ya five bucks
(yes, I’m serious!)

Haha I love that all these teens on myspace are just figuring out about the rest of the internet hahaha.

“You mean there’s an internet outside of MySpace?”
Reminds me of AOL… lol

This is only the beginning
It is scary and intriguing at first. But, believe me, whenever you are down and out and stuck, you would never find a better idea, but from these sources
The “stealing aspect” is blown over and given importance only to the writing arena. Just contemplate when your idea is stolen !
You wake up in the morning only to find out somebody else is quoting it - it’s all in the game as the say.
While, it is nice to be known, there is also another side -”the pressures of being famous”
The teens have very little to lose - for them it is the thrill of the game, the thrill of being recognized. But, they are definitely way ahead of the previous generation. They should make mistakes for us to survive.
Bye for now.

seriously?
Fried Green Tomatoes used the words “we have better PageRank”?
Really?
Page Rank?!
Lynn Terry // Apr 12, 2008 at 10:18 pm
No - that was me adapting the line from the movie to fit
The original line was something like “Face it girls, I’m older & have better insurance!” when she rams the car of young girls that stole her parking spot :p
