New Year Resolutions

Working from home gives us many opportunities to develop bad habits – from sleep patterns to convenience snacking, caffiene intake and lack of exercise. As the New Year rang in, I found myself contemplating some of the habits I’d like to change in the year ahead.

As usual, to quit smoking tops the list. I quit last year, but have since started back… but 2007 needs to be the year I kick that habit for good. I would also like to get back on my workout routine (I lost almost 40 lbs this past year!) and get in ‘swimsuit shape’ by Spring.

With all of this on my mind, I took an interest in a recent article on Yahoo! Health titled Boost Your Brain Health too! which gave some great tips for staying mentally sharp and stress-free.

I walked away from that article resolving to eat more sushi, go dancing more often, and get out with friends for a little fun at least once a week… :D .

Another site worth checking out is Healthy Body, recently launched by Adriana – a regular ClickNewz reader and SSWT Member. There are some great tips to be found there, from a natural energy boost to dealing with insomnia. Add a few health tips to your Feed Reader by subscribing to Healthy Body to keep your resolutions in mind throughout the coming year!

Here’s to making 2007 count! *cheers* ;)

I think we are not alone in these thoughts, Lisa – I’ve heard a common theme from many others as well. That should mean plenty of resources and support in reaching our goals!
