Better Late Than Never

I woke up this morning ready to dig in and kick off the New Year. Yes, I realize its almost February already… but hey – better late than never

February 2007 marks my 10th year in business, working from home. There is nothing more motivating than reaching such a milestone, and being able to look back on an entire decade of success! I’ll be sharing more with you on that later, as I plan to “celebrate” the entire month of February.

It’s interesting timing actually. The New Year, my 10 Year Anniversary… and the “Web 2.0 Wave” which has really taken off over the last couple of months. I feel as if that is really forcing online business owners to make a serious decision – jump ship now or go with the flow. So many things are changing, not only in development and delivery, but in what visitors & buyers expect when searching or shopping online these days.

I would venture to guess I am not alone in analyzing all of my web properties for potential facelifts and upgrades. Its going to take a bit of work to get things up to the new standards, but those that do will continue to enjoy success online – no doubt.

Having been in this for 10 years already, I intend to do whatever it takes to keep up with the changing trends. I plan to still be at it 10 years from now, celebrating 20 years!

So yes – it’s a New Year, a new decade for me personally, and I’m feeling motivated to put some new & exciting things into motion. I think I’ll start by putting together a Press Release and writing a few articles about my ‘work at home’ experience. I may also start podcasting, because that sounds like an awful lot of fun! And I also have some videos and tutorials up my sleeve for the coming months
