Money DOES Grow on Trees
That’s what my daughter told me on the way home from softball practice today.
The tree’s grow and then they are used to make paper. And that paper is used to make money. So you see? Money DOES grow on tree’s!
I’m sure going to miss her positive little insights while I’m away next week!
Working from home full-time, I dont miss much with the kids. I’ve been home with them since Ann Marie was just a few months old and since before Zack started school (they are 5 years apart in age). I am extremely grateful for that opportunity.
By the way, my daughter hit a home run at practice today. I couldn’t have been more proud 
. I’ll be missing her first scrimmage on Monday night as I will already be in Boston for PubCon… and I’m realizing just how much I’m going to miss ‘my babies’ while I’m away.

Holy Smokes, a HOME RUN!
That is way cool. Even though I was an All Star
baseball player, I never hit a home run. I always
was a puny little kid. The dream of the home-run
just never came true.
So that’s awesome your daughter hit one. It must
of been a great feeling as she was rounding the
bases.

LOL, My sister asked the same thing! PubCon stands for Publishers Conference… but from what I understand, there’s quite a bit of time spent in the pubs too

I don’t know how to break this to you. I felt bad even mentioning it so I looked it up to be sure. Money is not made from paper. Its made from about 75% cotton and the rest is linen.
It’s a real cute moment though.
And, maybe you shouldn’t tell your daughter.
