Squeeze Page Videos

Video Marketing is HOT right now - no doubt about it! In the last year you have probably noticed a dramatic increase in Vlogs (video blogs), the use of videos in sales copy (as pointed out in Michel Fortin's latest report), gaining mass exposure through video portals like YouTube, etc...

If you are like me you are watching all of this unfold, and busily considering the ways that you can add audio and video into your current websites to increase conversions and give your profit potential a mega-boost. Obviously it is going to take some software or equipment, along with another little learning curve, to accomplish this... but its something that any of us can do.

That said, here's something you're going to want to check out. Because it takes ALL of the 'work' out of the equation πŸ˜‰ ... SqueezeVideo.com

Right before I looked into this site, I was reading a report by Jason James that is floating around MySpace. It is a lead-in to his new site at AudioVideoRiches.com and discusses the use of audio & video to "explode your online business".

In this report, Jason mentioned the various equipment requirements - and the difference between an inexpensive webcam and what you would need for high quality, professional presentations. Most readers eyes will glaze over, they will begin to realize that there is work and money involved... and never get around to actually producing their own video.

But here's something that's going to level the playing field:

Derrick VanDyke and Todd Gross have teamed up to give you a collection of ready-made Videos and Squeeze Pages that you can use on your own landing pages - or use as stand-alone pages to build targeted email lists.

Every week they add a new squeeze page and video, and most of these come with a free report that you can give away to increase conversions as well. They already have four available, and they add one for a different niche each week: Adsense Squeeze Page, List Building Squeeze Page, Affiliate Marketing Squeeze Page, and even a Credit Repair Squeeze Page.

When you go to the site (SqueezeVideo.com), you'll see an example Video Squeeze Page. When you sign up (which is free), you get a free squeeze page video and a free report on using video in your marketing campaigns. You'll also get instant access to free membership in their portal - once inside, be sure to check out the video tutorial by Liz Tomey because that really gives you a simplified understanding of how you can best use these packages.

I think you'll be impressed with this one πŸ˜‰

  1. Hi Lynn,
You got me excited so I visited the video squeeze page site to check it out. Under different circumstances I would definitely be impressed. But in my case, and I think in many others too, it was very stressful, visually and ear-ily(sorry, cant get the right word now). Imagine what I heard (besides saw).
    We..l.......................c.....ome........................................to............

I hope you get my drift. I know my ISP cant be trusted even 80%. So I checked the bandwidth speed test-380 kb/s instead of 512 kb/s. Of course I dont know about the website's server speed.
Video and audio is good. But the performance hiccups is a major put-off currently. Perhaps the internet will match Moore's law one day.
And thanks for all your words of wisdom and insights.

  2. I would say so! I didnt experience that on my end - it flowed very smoothly. Thanks for letting me know, though. Did anyone else have this problem??

  3. Hi Lynn,

I too was excited but disappointed. In my case, the example video worked fine but I was not able to get my free signup. I tried three different times. I was sent an url back via email to log in but was not able to log in using any of the (valid) email information I gave. I got an error page several times. It was weird. Maybe they are swamped! LOL

  4. You might try signing up again with a different email address. I did have that problem originally - I had forgotten about that - but thats what worked for me.

  5. Hi Lynn. I always enjoy Todd Gross' presentations. Thanks for the head's up.

  6. Would really like to know more how to do it myself. I was going to sign in but froze at the paypal email request.
Also, where can I get those details that make your eyes glaze over(smile)
Thanks for all that you do!

  7. It seems to me that if they can't get their web site to work correctly then how do we know that they or we can get what they are offering to us to work any better.

It seems that not only is the signup page giving errors but all of a sudden an email comes to you telling you to sign in and it won't even work.

I think I will waite and see what comes of them before I waste my time trying to use a system that they apparently don't have ready to release to the public yet.

    Cheers

  8. I am going to have to check this out. Not sure how I could implement video on my site but it's worth checking out!

  9. Rosie - they ask you for the paypal address because they have an affiliate program that you are automatically signed up for when you join the free portion of their site. That's all πŸ˜‰

  10. Hi Lynn,

I was very interested in this, and I did sign up to be an affiliate. But they don't provide a link that can be used in email. It was a real time waster. How did you manage to sign up for the affiliate program and have things work for you?

I'm not ready to put their video on my site. There was no way to see that the link they provided was an affiliate link that would pay commissions to me. Grrr.

  11. I found the link within my account, which is:
    http://squeezevideo.com/?3776

Did you not find the same? You may want to contact them and see if they can walk you through it.

I'm all over this one and so far so good -- No problems getting set up. If you want to download a certain sqeeze page or brandable PDF report for your squeeze pages, you'll need a bit of html smarts but, I personally decided after watching the 30-minute tutoral over a cup of coffee that I'd rather pay the measly $10 bucks to have them do it for me. The affiliate links I have out there seem to be working fine. I found the email solo ad copy in the members area >> make money >> promotion tools section.

  13. Sweet! I look forward to hearing how it works out for you in regards to conversions and new list-building campaigns!

  14. Nice...I also create squeeze pages.. This looks very interesting. As of the moment I am using OptimisePress. What do you think about it?
