Handwritten Signatures are a great way to brand yourself and add a professional image to your forum posts and emails. You can even add them to blog posts and articles to give them a more personal feel, or to brand your writing.
There are several ways that you can do this. If you want to use your own personal signature, then you can sign a white piece of paper and then scan that into your computer. From there you can manipulate the sharpness, contrast and size… and then upload the image to your server so that you can use it.
Another option is to create an image using fonts, in an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. You can create an image that looks very much like your own signature, or just something that you like. Using the same process, you upload the image and then link to that image wherever you would like to use it online.
But both of these options do require a little bit of technical know-how or a learning curve. If you dont have a scanner, image editing program, a hosting account, or know how to “FTP”… that may seem like too much trouble.
Here’s an easy solution

You can create graphic signatures very quickly and easily with My Live Signature. It’s as easy as creating an account, selecting your options, and then copying & pasting the code for your new ’siggy’. Here are two examples that I created in a matter of minutes:

The image is even hosted by My Live Signature, so there is nothing required outside of a few minutes to choose your fonts and colors. It is completely free to use the service and to create and use the images.
They do have a few ‘upgrade options’ if you want something a little more fancy. For example, you can scan your own signature in and send it to them and let them animate it. Or you can purchase an animated version of your signature graphic. They are very nicely done… and like I said, this is a super-easy option for those of you that need something simple yet professional.
Enjoy!
