PowerGen Mobile Juice Pack Review

This little device has become my must-have. I never leave home without it. The video above explains how it works, what I love about it, and why I recommend EVERYone carries one of these cool little gadgets.

You can currently get the PowerGen Mobile Juice Pack 5200mAh for only $29.99 at Amazon.com. And believe me, it's worth every single penny - and then some. πŸ˜‰

At the current price, it's a great deal!

Be sure to check out the specs at Amazon to make sure it's compatible with your devices. If not, there are similar models and even different connectors & cables you can order, so be sure to shop around to see what you can find.

Leave a comment and tell us which mobile devices you use and/or about an incident where it went dead on you at the most inopportune time!

Best,

p.s. The gadget I own (above) is currently out of stock at Amazon. It also may not be compatible with your device. Here is another model from PowerGen that may be, and it IS in stock at the same low price:

  1. The question is not when my Android ran out of energy but when did it NOT πŸ™‚
I need one of these for sure.

Androids are definitely hungry little devices:( I am also thrilled that Lynn shared this! Looking for one on Amazon momentarily.

  2. Kris Miller says

You can never have to much energy.

  3. Mark Sierra says

At the rate my Samsung Galaxy S2 runs out of juice, this little gadget would definitely come in handy and ease my stress.

  4. I'm using an HTC EVO LTE 4G phone from sprint and it already has a terrible battery. But just because I have a "smart" phone doesn't mean it makes me smart and I prove that all the time by forgetting my charger half the time I need to take it with me. Something like this PowerGen Mobile Juice Pack could work perfect as a back up brain for me...er, back up battery I mean.

Thanks for the review and giveaway!

  5. Its awesome, I really liked the device, It's very practical for those people who keeps on working with gadgets. I use my hp laptop and iphone for checking mails and always have a problem to recharge. Thank alot for sharing another informative video.

  6. My LG Optimus handles a lot of functions and to have the best it does take power. Def PowerGen is the way to go. Next we need a feature it can be recharged by solar. Thanks for tip, Miss Lynn

  7. I use nokia5800xm and it hangs a lot. If you run two things at a time and it is a big mess to use this mobile phone.

  8. That's good to hear because i use Vodafone , but getting a new Power Gen Mobile Juice pack then that will make day and even make my holidays fine and even to start a new year in style. Hope i get chance to win it .

    I have a Motorola Xoom!

  10. As a frequent traveler, I often find myself in an airport waiting for a connecting flight and trying to find a nearby outlet to charge my phone, laptop, kindle, etc. Too often I have been unable to find an "unoccupied" outlet and had my device run low or out of power when I needed it for the next leg of my journey. The PowerGen Mobile Juice Pack 5200 would be awesome to have! I'm headed over to Amazon right now to check it out. Thanks for sharing this with us, Lynn!

  11. While doing a long hike in the country (10 miles, which took 6 hours due to detours, the terrain, stopping to take pictures, etc.), my Samsung ran out of juice. I made it to my destination of the nearest town just after dark, and was able to call for a ride, but it sure would have been great to have this little device with me!

In trying to conserve my battery, I missed some fun photo ops along the way, too. πŸ˜› πŸ™‚

Thanks to Lynn for another fun contest, and best of luck to all who enter here.

Sounds like a "must have" device for mobile phone users. Like the fact that it comes with numberous connectors. As every time one buys a new phone, the charger you have for use in the car if the phone dies has a different connector which won't go into the new phone's jack.

  13. oh how good is that, i like to hike alot and always have to have my phone switched off so i can make sure there is some juice left in case of an emergency, this looks like a must have to go in my kit!! thanks for sharing Lynn. πŸ™‚

  14. Thanks for the giveaway. I posted about it on my blog. I have a Motorola Atrix phone and it has died on me when I've been out shopping and needed to call my teens. πŸ™

  15. Rachel Pilgrim says

I use an iphone, ipad, and a Kindle on a regular basis. One time I left the wireless option on my Kindle, and the battery nearly died by the end of the flight. I had to scramble to charge it in between connections.

  16. Sounds like a very cool tool. My husband would love it.

  17. I've had this on my Christmas list since October when I got my iPhone 5. There are too many days when it doesn't make it to the end of the day without recharging.

The most inopportune time for having my phone run out of juice... 13 days ago my father had open heart surgery and complications afterward. My Mom and I were in the ICU room while they worked to stabilize him and were trying to keep family members updated. Both of our phones were running out of juice and outlets were not at all convenient. After Mom's iPhone 4S conked out, I had to get permission to climb under the IV lines to get to an outlet so we would have one usable phone.

Dad was released from the hospital 2 days ago and is on the road to recovery. πŸ™‚

  18. I have an iPhone 4s, and my husband has the Galaxy Nexus. I went online to buy one from Amazon today and they told me they were no longer available! You are my last hope. πŸ™‚

My husband and his father are avid hunters, and during outings they are obviously nowhere near a power outlet, even if their phones have service. It would give me peace of mind to know that they could recharge their phones and call me on long trips, should some emergency arise. Dead phones while hunting have happened one too many times for my taste!

    • Oh wow - they were in stock the other day! :p

There is one shown below that, in the "what other's bought" section that works with the iPhone 5 - it's a PowerGen as well, looks to be a newer model, which is cool!

  19. My life revolves around my gadgets, which include Blackberry Playbook, Dell laptop, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

The worst fail I had was when I was trying to show my digital portfolio during an interview. I don't know if that's why I didn't get the job, but it didn't help.

Thanks for the opportunity to win the Juice Pack, it sounds like a fantastic gadget accessory.

  20. What a great gadget. I have a Motorola android phone now but last winter I had an HTC & was driving home during a really bad winter storm, my phone battery had died & the roads were very slick. It was snowing really bad & my car slid off the road. Since my phone was dead I had to stand out I. The snow storm & flag someone down to call a tow truck to pull me out of the ditch. It was a very horrible day. A PowerGen Juice Pack would have came in handy.
    Thanks for this giveaway.

  21. Looks like a really cool gadget. I think that I could benefit hugely from one of those.

  22. I took my iPhone4s with me when climbing Old Rag Mountain in the Shenandoahs a week ago to take some pics but it's power didn't even last all day because it was continuously searching for a connection. Could have used a Juice Pack to extend its performance.

  23. Just ordered the 6000mAh version. Thanks for the link. These would be a great emergency backup for people that spend time in the outdoors off the grid.

  24. I have HTC & the battery power is very less, I have to keep on charging it. It Sounds like a must have device for mobile phone users, thanks for the opportunity to win the Juice Pack, it really sounds a great Gadget, Good post, thanks for sharing.
