Content Composer Chaos

Yesterday, during critical launch hours, the server hosting the sales copy for Content Composer went down... leaving customers concerned about time-outs during purchase, and potential buyers worried that they would miss out on launch-day bonuses.

Content Composer is an SEO content creation and publishing system - the newest product by Jason Potash. With a huge launch strategy, the incredible amount of traffic sent to the server caused technical issues. Specifically, something to do with Apache. Jason sent out an email with an update on the problem, though I'm not up on the terminology enough to tell you more than the fact that it was "an Apache problem"...

Obviously Jason and his team were 'burning the midnight oil' to fix the problem and handle the onslaught of customer support tickets that flowed in. I received this email from Jason once the server was back up and stabilized, showing that he - in usual style - will go above and beyond to make sure that his customers are well taken care of:

As a big "Thank you" to all of those people
overseas who got up extra early today (or
skipped out from work at 2:45) and couldn't
access the site... I am going to put together
something special for them.

I don't have the details yet, but I will let you
know. Also, I am planning to announce a
"Thank you for your patience" gift for new
Content Composer customers as well.

It's the least I can do under these
circumstance. It certainly wasn't *their* fault
that they got caught in the eye of a hurricane.
