Friday Morning Coffee Break

It’s Friday morning as I sit down to write this, and nearing the end of a very busy week here in the home office. Things generally wind down a bit by Friday… but not this week.

Even the Internet Marketers are still ‘buzzing’ about, and you usually dont hear much out of them Friday to Sunday. There are announcements, launches, fire sales and special deals. Its enough to make my head spin!

I am keeping an eye on it all though – scanning email as it comes in on my second monitor. I think that Dual Monitors was probably the best investment I’ve ever made in office equipment. The laptop would pull a close second, but there is just nothing like the productivity of dual 19″ widescreens when you’re multi-tasking.

I can keep a close eye on time sensitive email messages, watch for opportunities on a constantly updating website, publish blog posts and monitor my discussion forum – all side by side, all in plain site. It’s ideal, really.

Things I’m working on this week include: a new site launch, writing new content for current sites, reviewing a new sales copy program, and reviving a couple of stagnant sites – to name a few things off the top of the list.

Speaking of that list, it seems to have become a bit disorganized along the way. Additions, tasks marked off, side notes and new ideas… yada yada yada. I decided to brew a fresh pot of coffee and sit down for an end-of-the-week brain dump.

What about you – how has your week gone? Are you planning to work through the weekend, or enjoy some time off?

I work on weekends because I have 4 kids underfood all week. Their Dad is coming to pick up the oldest 3 so it’s workworkwork for me all weekend while I can. :)

I am finishing up a new product to launch and working on a local networking event for Monday.

Underfood. LOL. Underfoot! Although if I don’t work they might be “underfed”. ;)

LOL :) It is nice to be on such a flexible work schedule though, you have to admit. I decided to work on a few of my sites for awhile today myself… though weekends are more of a leisurely pace, which is nice.

I work full time out of the house, so a lot of time is spent working on the weekends…

Did you mean that you work outside of your home business, and work from home also? If so, how long have you been pulling the double?
