Congoo is another relatively new site in the Web 2.0 range that offers you a new way to promote your site… and get both exposure and quality backlinks. It works similar to the Squidoo Lens, so if you are familiar with the power of Squidoo, this is something you’ll want to take a look at…
They offer something called a News Blog, or News Circles, where you can set up topical content for your niche. Many webmasters and bloggers are using this as a Marketing Tool, since you can add links back to your own websites.
Once you build a News Portal on their site, they will give you a Widget that you can add to your own blog or website. This is something worth checking out, as Congoo has a network of news sites with over a million monthly visitors — and they plan to promote the most popular ‘Circles’ across their nework.

Thanks for the heads up about Congoo. For one of my niche sites i was checking the backlinks in Google and it said it had a premium listing on Congoo and i was confused. I asked some of my seo friends and they were confused, time for me to start doing some researching on there.
The site has an amazing news channel like googles but you can drill down to much more niche topics. I havent built a circle but I downloaded their toolbar and it gives free access to Wall Street Journal and Morningstar analyst reports. I’ll buy that for a dollar!
