Last week I was talking more on the use of a Call To Action in web copy, specifically to encourage readers and visitors to take a certain action.
I mentioned a book by the same title, written by Bryan & Jeffrey Eisenberg. I received my copy today, which I ordered from Amazon.com, and am super-anxious to dig in! I'm planning to read it over the weekend, so I'll keep you posted as to my thoughts on it.
Its good timing actually, as I am re-working the content on several of my websites right now -- including autoresponders, pre-sells, sales copy, etc. I am quite sure I can glean a load of good ideas and smart strategies from the book, judging by the table of contents...
From the back of the book:
Using humor, insight, and a ton of experience, New York Times best-selling authors Bryan and Jeffrey Eisenberg share powerful strategies for perfecting your online business. Packed with examples of persuasion and conversion tactics, this timely how-to manual will help you boost your customer retention and sales while eliminating customer frustrations.
Right up our alley, wouldnt you say? 😉
A quick flip-through shows tons of examples and screen shots. Call me a geek, but I love a good non-fiction book. Particularly when its on the topic of internet business!
Best,
