Hi Bryan,

Is it a static website or a ‘blog’? I am really impressed with the ease of promoting a blog vs a website (I know, I’ve made that point already). At any rate, my first piece of advice would be to TAG as much as possible – and in every post, of course.

Aside from that, I am finding other bloggers and discussion forums to be great sources for new traffic.

Great information. Good stats! About the BPAP (I like acronyms..haha), I would be very interested in hearing about that. I am working on promoting my site right now, and it seems like it is starting a little slow (but I know I haven’t done enough of the stuff you mentioned in this post ….. YET! thanks!)

6,860 links WITHOUT any blog promo???

Actually, I just looked again and it’s now 7,460 according to Yahoo. These ‘stats posts’ are usually outdated the minute I publish them! lol

Anyway, you’ll notice that many of those links are sitewides or blogrolls on other blogs – so they dont ALL count towards the Link Reputation for ClickNewz.com

From what I can tell, 87 of those links are ‘counted’. But outside of search engine perks… there are over seven thousand links floating around on relevant web pages across the ‘net that can be seen by people who may be interested in joining us here.

And to me, that counts for a lot!

Nice stats! I use AWstats, too… which is actually going to be a subject of one of my posts in the near future

I haven’t done much yet to promote my blog… I’m still trying to figure out the tweaks and stuff, but a “Blog Promotion Action Plan” would be great!
