I've known Justin & Chaunna for years. They're great people. We've had the opportunity to work together briefly on a few things here and there, but nothing like what we're about to do together now...
To be clear upfront, money changed hands. This is a paid partnership. As you already know, I generally work with merchants and business owners as an affiliate, earning a commission on sales or leads referred. It's only been in the last few years that I've worked with sponsors and advertisers, on a very small level, and more recently I'm testing some new options for working with various brands and merchants.
This "Marketing JV" is part of a personal test. Quite a few people responded to my offer, but just like my affiliate options, I am VERY picky about who I work with and which products I recommend. Some very cool people came forward, so it was not an easy choice, but I ultimately handpicked Justin and Chaunna because I really like who they are and what they're doing with Happily Unemployed.
