Auditions for The Next Internet Millionaire
Joel Comm’s reality web show, The Next Internet Millionaire is still taking auditions… Have you submitted your video yet?
If not, here are some ideas to help you plan out your video submission…
1) I don’t know what to say on the video
Seriously? Say anything! Be creative. Be serious. Be dramatic.
Be deadpan. Be yourself! You have two minutes to tell me, the show producers and the rest of the world why you want to be The Next Internet Millionaire. Be honest and give it your best! What have you got to lose by taking a chance? Nothing.
2) I can’t edit video or make a good quality video.
Big deal. This casting call isn’t about flashy videos. It is about PEOPLE. I am looking for the right person to JV with me.
Technology is useful, but it isn’t necessary. Again… take a chance!
3) I don’t have a video camera or webcam.
I’ll bet you have a friend that does! And if not, you can get a basic webcam at Best Buy or Office Depot for under $40. It’s a small investment to reach for your dreams, don’t you think?
4) Other people have already submitted their videos and have more votes. I’m too late.
Nonsense! We are accepting audition videos for our first round until June 6th. Voting only counts for 50% of first round auditions, so you still have PLENTY of time to get yours in.
5) I’m too embarrassed or afraid to do an audition video.
Believe it or not, I’ve been terrified of public speaking my whole life. It’s true! But when I took a step of faith to do what I knew I needed to do, it changed my life! So what’s your excuse? Do you want to be The Next Internet Millionaire? Step over the obstacles of fear and do what you know is possible!
No more excuses!
Those 5 ‘excuses’ were taken from an email Joel Comm sent out to his own readers. Hopefully that will help you to get in gear, and get your submission in! There are even more suggestions on the site, including these ideas:
- Share your inspirational marketing story
- Share your vision
- Talk about your creativity
- Talk about a life success
- Talk about a goal you accomplished
- Explain what you would do with a million dollars
- Explain what makes you different from other people
- Share an embarrassing moment
- Reveal something about yourself
- Tell us about your passions
- Make us laugh
- Make us cry
Whether you want to send in your video audition and compete to become The Next Internet Millionaire – or just watch the show – the website is now officially open and taking auditions:

You can join the site for free and get unlimited access to the members area, view the auditions and even vote for those that are competing.
Will you be watching? Voting? Submitting your own video audition?

That’s the email that motivated me to put together a video and submit it!
I am so afraid of public speaking myself but I thought I’d try it. My Video is terrible, LOL, But the sentiment was real so I’m hoping to get into the top 50 anyway.
I used a webcam and a headset mic.
I’m so excited and proud that I did it though (although the actual video is nothing to be proud of the act of putting myself out their is something I am proud of!), hey it’s worth a shot!
Can’t wait to see how this goes, even if I don’t get on the show or to the next round, I’ll defintely be watching
Congratulations on taking action towards something like this, and overcoming your fears to do it!
Good luck!
